“Very impressed”
Excellent hotel, located in a quieter area just out of Patong Beach. Breakfast was delicious, staff very friendly, very clean and if we go back to Phuket would not go any where else.

“Great Buffet Breakfast”
Its a great resort, have everything you need. It was a bit of a pain having to get a taxi back from Patong every time, but it worth it. We also got married there which was beautiful, on the beach. Everything went off without a hitch. We also didn't realize we had to pay extra to use internet or to play pool. The staff were really friendly, and the buffet breakfast awesome.
“Great Hotel, not the best location”
We found this hotel to be all that it stated on it's web site. It had all the facilities that anyone one could ask for (loved the swim-up bar). However, I never realised that it was so far from other shops, restaurants etc. The hotel did offer a shuttle bus, which was great but could add more times to it's timetable. The shuttle bus it was a bit outmoded for a hotel of this standard. I couldn't fault the room standard (deluxe beach view) very clean, fairly spacious and all amenities. Disapponited that the hotel did not offer free wifi as we experienced in Bangkok hotels, internet costs we a little high for Thailand. But saying all this, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel with the mod-cons this is a ideal place.

The location is a little remote. All services promised were provided promptly and efficiently.
“Getting tired”
Hi all, This was my 3rd visit to Melin Beach and it will be my last. My veiw is that the resort has lost its spark. Most of the the staff are just doing there job and that's it. Rooms had a musty smell to them which you couldnt get rid of. Everybody that stayed at the resort finished up with a cough and a cold, probably transferred through the air conditioning. In summing up the resorts tired, staff is tired and meal menus are all the same. even the singers in the lounge area are still the same as from out first visit. my rating 4/10
