“great stay”

We had a very nice stay, the room was spacious and clean. We didnt use the pool but it looked like it would've been a nice place on a hot day. Room service was extremely quick.

“Didn't want to leave - the hotel provided everything I needed”

This was a clean comfotable hotel that was close to all the shops and visitor locations - the Hotel staff were helpful in helping to book excursions and with other information. My only complaint was that the bar closed so early - as it would have been nice to return in the evening after our walk and sit and have a drink with my friends instead of being told there were drinks our rooms.

“Good location, great hotel”

The Mercure Hotel Perth is a very clean and well presented hotel. Room service was prompt, the food was good. The location of the hotel is a very short walk from all the shopping and cafes of Perth, the property is tucked off the main street, just east of the city centre.

“Stay at the Mecure Hotel”

I recently stayed in a standard room and booked online for the easter long weekend - I got a great deal where I paid for two nights and stayed for three. I think this hotel is great value for money. They even let me check in at 8am instead of 2pm as my prior accommodation arrangements fell through. I will definitely be staying there again.

“Great affordable place”

We chose to stay at the Mercure hotel for Xmas eve and were really impressed with the hotel. The staff were very helpful when we were looking for a chemist that would be late open on Xmas eve. Would definitely stay again.

“nice Place, but expensive”

My stay at the Mercure was good. Its kind of expensive, but then again everything in Perth is expensive. The bed was comfy, their was a enough pillows. The room was spacious. It would have been nice if they had informed me where the pool was and how to get there. The staff was very helpful when I asked them for directions.

“Pool Area”

Bed was adverised as a Queen but i believe it was only a double. TV picture quality was only average. Only other suggestion I could make was the pool area lacks shade. It was extremely hot in Perth this weekend and the actual Pool deck was very hot to walk on and there is no shade to sit in outside of pool. Overall however we were happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful

“Overall good stay but...”

Upon arrival, the front staff Jessica upgraded my room and worked very efficiently to check me in smoothly although she was the first and the last staff I saw at the recption area was friendly and kind. Knowing they have some laundry facilities, I went down to get some coins at the front desk in the middle of my stay. The other staff Michael was aloof and spoke to me without smile. He served me when I checked out and again no smile. Once night when I came back at my room after dinner, I realised that the sliding door in the showe room got a crack and also the screen door was off the rail at the bottom so did not slide. I presumed that one of the housekeepers mistakenly broke it and s/he did not report - very unprofessional. I was apprehensive that I would be charged by this, thinking that they would suspect me having broken it (because the similar happened in NZ before and I was forced to pay for nothing I had done). Immediately I called the front desk and sent someone over and it was fixed. The room decor is modern and felt clean but TV is so small for a superior room. Some gym equipments are dated and one of the michines was broken. No air-con or was not working at the gym so the air was so stuffy and it was very hot in the morning I was working out. The location of the hotel is pretty good - close to everything, situated in the middle of CBD just 2 blocks down from one of the main streets. Very safe surrounding so no fear of walking down on the way to the hotel at night.
