“Love it, the place to stay in Paris”
What a great hotel, we have 2 small kids so this kind of hotel is perfect for us. To be able to make them breakfast before a big day out is great, and to have a fridge that is not a mini bar is awsome!! The staff are very friendly and always available to answer any question. The room was larger that i expected which is unusual for Paris!! And with a metro station a stones through away is awsome!!!!! Oh yeah some friendly advice!! Paris Metro.........not real good if you have 2 strollers with you!!!!!!
“Great location. Walk to Louvre, Notre Dame. Metro on same corner.”
Front desk staff were friendly and spoke Spanish and English also, so a great help. Our room was a Premier Apartament (for 4). Very nice for families. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in lobby. Clean, modern design to hotel. Recently updated. Easy walk (10-15 min.) to Louvre and Notre Dame. Metro stop right on the same corner. One drawback is that the Les Halles complex is being demolished, so if you walk that way it is a bit unsightly. Also, some of the locals in the park next to the church at night were unsavory. All in all, a very convenient place for a short stay in Paris.
“Friendly, good value, great location”
This hotel is great value, given its location and standard. I've stayed in plenty of dud hotels in Paris, but this one is modern, fresh, friendly and convenient - much more than I expected for the price. I chose the second-lowest room grade, yet had a nice view of the square and neighbouring roof-tops. The kitchenette was simple but well-equipped (even a small dishwasher), which meant I didn't have to eat out every night. The neighborhood is busy and lively, and an easy walking distance from the river, Louvre, Notre Dame, Marais and Left Bank. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free wi-fi was fast and reliable. The local metro Châtelet-Les Halles is handy for several key lines, including the RER to both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.
“Convenient location and recently renovated”
The aparment was recently refurbished, well presented and clean. The layout worked well from a sleeping perspective with two separate areas. The facilities were compact but adequate. There was no table in the apartment however there was adequate room where one could have been placed. The locatation was very convenient and generally quiet however the surrounding neighbourhood had a lot of broken glass, vomit etc from nighclubers.
“Good Location”
Good location with lots of great food places to choose from. The room was modern and spacious. We'd stay there again.
“Excellent local and comfortable hotel”
We really liked this hotel. It is centrally located, easy access to the main metro and RER stations. Our room on the 4th floor was great! Very comfortable, all you need. A small kitchen was a nice addition, too. WIFI worked very well. The bathroom was small and very clean.
“Good location, there are some workers in the area right now but the hotel is good”
The hotel is great, the front desk people are very kind and always trying to help, they speak English very well. The area of the city where this hotel is was wonderful, walking distance to many places, it has a supermarket in the same building, has a bakery 2 blocks away. Metro station is a block away....shopping center 1 block away, lots of restaurants and shops in the area.
“I would go back again”
wooow this place was fantastic, the service , the cleanliness of its rooms and the best 2 things in it the staff and the location of this place (less than 1 minute to the largest metro station in paris )
“Great location”
We stayed at the hotel with our two college age daughters and we had a great time. We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette, a living room and a large entry (where the kitchenette was located). The suite had ample storage for the luggage. The bedroom had two single beds with comfortable mattresses, pillows and nice bed linen. The living room had a pull-out sofa and our daughters did not complain. The only minor problem was that, other than a desk and two chairs, there was no table to sit down at and have breakfast (we had our simple milk yogurt cereal and fruit for breakfast in the room). This could be a slight inconvenience to people who wish to have more meals in the room, but we preferred to enjoy our lunches and dinners in the nearby restaurants, which are abundant. The hotel is being renovated now but we did not spend time there during the day and at night it was quiet in spite of the busy neighborhood. If you wish to spend time in the hotel room during the day, call or e-mail the hotel to find out when the renovation will be finished. The desk personal was courteous and had a good command of English. We walked almost everywhere (that is the best way to discover the city), but the Chatelet Le Halles metro and train station is right next to the hotel. This is a large metro center/hub with many lines connecting.
“great place, great location”
Absolutely great location. We got really big room, very new kithchen facilities, easy walk to Louvre, Notre Dame etc. in a quiet safe neighbourhood with advice on where the local convenience store, supermarket, bakery etc were located. Staff very helpful, even making phone calls on our behalf to change bookins with tour providers who did not speak good English. The place is being extensively renovated so a little noise in the day (but still relatively quiet). Free internet. A bit hard to find at first as it is on a pedestrian only place.
