"We were able to check in a couple of hours early which was a bonus . We were greeted on arrival by the lovely host Melanie whom gave us info of the area and showed us on a map. The accommodation was outstanding, the photos do not do it justice at all. The little extras like the tea bags , milk in the fridge, fruit and croissants were all a really lovely touch. We had planned to walk a lot and see the sights , there is a bus stop almost outside the property which gets you to the train...

"Paul was a terrific host. Very helpful, easy to communicate with. Headington is a great location to explore Oxford, and if you are a fan of Lewis and Tolkien, it is the suburb that they both lived in. Very nice to have a place to park the car while we went in to explore Oxford (in particular Magdalen College)"

"A convenient location, not too far for walking into town, but plenty of buses from the nearby stop. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, at the back of the house. I was surprised that breakfast was not included, but probably my fault for not reading the details carefully. However, I eat very little at breakfast and felt that £12.50 was rather too much for my requirements. "

"Quaint stay, friendly staff, family run business. There is construction outside but did not hear it at all at night. The rooms are around the corner from the main office, very close to train station. We stayed on the bottom floor and there was one bathroom to share with one other room stay. The bathroom was newly renovated with a very nice shower. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated, single beds, with a sink, and a window that opens to a cute overgrown garden. I was expecting a busier...

"This is a very characterful building in an amazing location, nestled in amongst the colleges. It's important to note that in our experience there was nearly no service: when we were there we did not meet a single staff member. But for us this was fine. We spoke to them by phone, and they were very helpful and flexible with us as we solved some checking-in problems (of our own making, not their fault). "I thought the accommodation was very good I have found that organising accommodation on line that there is no phone number to call as I had mediocrity me that needed a small fridge to put it in But as in both off my bookings they did put my medication in there own fridge and froze my ice bricks I had with me The only susjestion I can make that they should state if there is a fridge in the room or not because I just expected there would be one The breakfast in Oxford was good but...

"The only flaw was I arrived at 3 for check in and the staff were behind me on the stairs to clean my room. Was able to drop my bags and take myself for a walk so i really didn’t mind. Room was large and had all the amenities you need. Pub across the street was convenient and you could walk into town very easily. "

"A few blocks north on Abingdon Rd is a great pub at Head of the River. About 10 min walk north on Abongdon Rd is a Tesco Express food market. Only a 20-min walk north brings you to High Street, Quenn Street, and Broad Street."
