“Great price and location.”

Booked the hotel a day before getting there, very easy to book. Hotel was in a central location close to central station within walking distance of Northumbria street and the metro. For the price of the hotel the stay was impressive, very clean bathroom and large room. Only complaint would be that the decor was rather old fashioned, however this did not hinder our stay and i would recommend it to anyone staying in Newcastle. As a former student I have experienced many different hotels and would rank the Vermont with the Station but for a fraction of the price.

“Incredible service - recommended unreservedly!”

The hotel is brilliantly located for access to both the city centre and the quayside. Perfect for shopping and nights out. The rooms are not small but can appear so because they are decorated in quite dark colours. The room facilities were good and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff are the stars of the show, however. All staff (particularly the concierge) were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. When my friend and I experienced some difficulties they went above and beyond the call of duty to assist us.

“Peaceful city centre living”

I stayed with my wife and had the best night sleep I have ever had at any hotel. The view from our room lookiing over to the Tyne bridge area was fantastic. The peacefulness of this city centre hotel was incredible. The staff could not do enough for us, friendly on arrival and helpful throughout.
