“Highly Recommend”

My friends and I went up for a weekend stay...The Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay....We used the heated pool located outside on the 2 floor which was excellent...The bistro on the ground floor has delicious food and great drinks at the bar...The Hotel couldn't have been located anywhere else better....Walking out the door you are in New Montreal and just a few walking steps you are in Old Montreal...My friends and I went a little crazy and we rented the bicycle which are 24 hour rentals for only $5.00...I would go back Le St Martin Hotel for additional stays!!!!!

Cresecent street, St. Laurent for its bars and clubs...take a walk down St. Catherine towards Old Montreal....In Old Montreal walk down the side streets to get a real european feeling of the city

“Wonderful Hotel”

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. They have wonderful accents like free water and snacks daily and a great staff. It is a privately owned hotel and I think that makes the difference. It is located downtown right near major shopping, the tube, the underground city and great restaurants.

“exactly what i expected and wanted”

My stay at Le St Martin Hotel was perfect. The hotel is very conveniently located near the metro, taxi station, bixi station, restaurants, shopping, and museums in downtown Montreal. It was very clean, quiet, and modern. We felt very safe in and around the neighborhood of the hotel. The oversize bathtub was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had one small issue with the ac in our room and were quickly upgraded to a gorgeous suite on the top floor for the remaining nights of our stay. The staff were very professional and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an easy place comfortable place to stay in downtown Montreal.

Area recommendations

The Old Port and Mont Royal were our favorite areas for dining, shopping, and people watching.

Getting around

The Metro is very easy to navigate. We also enjoyed using the Bixi (bike rentals).

Must see

The Notre-Dame Basillica is an amazingly stunning piece of architecture. It is like a work of art itself.

“Very New & Modern Hotel”

Very modern new rooms that have great decor and nice touches, such as crown molding. Bed was comfortable. Had a very large tub too that was great for soaking in after a long day of walking around Montreal. One of the top 10 most luxurious rooms I've ever stayed in. My only concerns are that they forgot to give me a wake-up call as requested and didn't do housekeeping one day until I called. Other than that, it was a great stay.

“I absolutely loved this place”

We just booked this hotel as a one-last-night stay after returning from a two week honeymoon in Italy. The room was cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed in, and was easily the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, for much less money than I typically spend on a room. The giant bathtub alone made the room worth staying in...

“Expensive but nice”

They room was clean, the bed comfortable. All the standard amenities were present. I'm a little OCD about cleanliness, and this hotel was very good. The temperature control was really good also. The outdoor heated pool was a lot of fun, very small, more like a large warm jacuzzi than a pool. The location was ok, walking distance from sights but usually 30 mins to get anywhere. We were pretty glad we had a car. the Valet service is so very convenient but expensive, a flat fee then unlimited in/out. We used Yelp to find restaurants, we really enjoyed our meals in Montreal, but definitely needed the car.
