“Excellent accomodiations and service”
I was impressed by the service from the registration desk to the personnel serving food and drink. My room was what one would expect, that also included breakfast. I would consider this hotel on another visit to Montreal.
“excellent choice”
good location, amenties
“Famous outdoor heated pool was closed for a week!”
We stayed in an executive king room with a toddler, and had access to the executive lounge which was nice. The rooms were clean and decent sized. The main problem I had with the hotel was that the outdoor heated swimming pool (that is supposed to be open all year) was closed for the entire 4 days we were there, so we could not use the pool at all. This was a major disappontment. The pool closing was not advertised when I booked the reservation. I understand cleaning the pool, but a week to clean seems excessive, and lack of notification for guests before they book the room seems weak. I might have rated the hotel higher if not for this irritating issue.
“It has excellent quality, except the customers!”
Everything was fine. However, there was very noisy arround 12:00 midnight in the aisel outside the room. Two young children and their parents yelled and laughed very loudly.

“Nice stay in Montreal”
Very nice hotel, clean, good amenities, friendly bi-lingual staff, located on top of the underground and a 3-minute walk to the Bonaventure Metro stop. Very honeymoon friendly too!
“A good choice”
Headed to Montreal on a very spontaneous trip. Looked at a number of hotels and selected the Hilton. Turned out to be a good choice. Convenient to pretty much anything in town. Value was extremely good for the price. The hotel has been around since the '67 World's Fair and the architecture is a bit dated, but modern room upgrades have kept the hotel fresh.
“Have been to better Hiltons”
This was not a Hilton experience: 1. The whole layout of the building is strange. The lobby is on the top floor which means that one has to carry the luggage up - by oneself because at the time when I arrived, there was no doorman or bellhop, not even a luggage cart. After checking in, one has to go back (still carrying the luggage) and carry the luggage over a flight of stairs in order to get to the rooms. At no point was I offered any help with my luggage. 2. When I turned on the tap in the bathroom sink, I noticed that the water pressure was very low. Rushing out of my room to a meeting, I called housekeeping and asked for them to look into the problem. When I came back in the evening I noticed that the water pressure was a little better, but still very low. The next morning I jumped into the shower and - again - the water pressure was very low. In fact, it was so low that the toggle swatch on the bathtub tap didn't even work. It was an interesting dance I had to perform to get the shampoo out of my hair. On my way out I asked at the reception desk for the problem to be looked at, but when I came back late at night, I realized that nothing had been done. 3. When I turned on the TV it only had audio, but no picture. Apparently, there was a 'quick fix': climb behind the TV, unplug it for a minute and then turn it back on in order to fix the problem. The technician who 'fixed' the problem told me that this can happen again and that I should just do it myself next time.
“My favorite place to stay in Montreal”
I've stayed here twice. Convenient access to the underground city with plenty of shops and quick places to eat. Easy walking distance to metro downtown and the old city. Front desk staff is always very courteous. Concierge was extremely helpful pointing things out on the city map and providing suggestions. And you have to see the rooftop pool!
“Great hotel.”
The hotel is well located . The metro is right there, a stair away and the Gare Central is across the street. Many good restaurants at walking distance.
