Great aparthotel in MelbournePosted 27/11/2013
Pros: Good location, great apartment.
Cons: A pool (but does the weather in Melbourne justify??), and free wifi. All Australian hotels charge (often high rates) for wifi - a rip-off.
Location: Good location near the centre. Walking distance from the MCG. Many trams nearby.
This was our second visit to an Adina, the first being in Adelaide. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the apartment was excellent - very spacious, clean, well-appointed. We almost got lost in it!

Great staff but nothing worksPosted 22/11/2013
Pros: staff, room size, position
Cons: working facilities would be nice, maybe not charging for extra milk might be nice too
Great check in process, staff were lovely and very helpful. Washing machine in room was out of order, was offered free laundry service, which was nice, but my white t shirt came back shrunken and grey. To be fair the washer was replaced by a working model by next day. Safe also did not work, I found this to be quite disappointing as safety of valuables should be a priority

Fantastic place to stayPosted 07/11/2013
Pros: The view of city lights was charming, staff very helpful and the central location to everything was good.
Cons: Carpets need a clean, quite dirty
Location: just metres from Federation Square, shops, restaurantes, theatre etc
This place is a gem, very central near Fed Square, trains, trams, shops, restaurants and shopping. Staff are friendly, helpful and go that extra distance in making our stay pleasurable. We were there for the Melbourne racing carnival, and will definitely go back to the Adina on Flinders.

Great location for Melbourne marathonPosted 20/10/2013
Pros: Location for the marathon..close to everything.
Cons: Heaters in bedrooms for winter. One had a portable heater, and more would have been appreciated!
Location: Great for MCG, Rod Laver, Fed square and Bourke st mall.
I booked 3 twins for the melbourne marathon and we got upgraded to the 3 bed penthouse. The hotel is a perfect location for the race, 15 min walk to the start line and expo, yet with enough around you to go out in the city with lots of eating and drinking etc close by. The penthouse and event he two bedroom apartments we also saw were huge with lots of room. The hotel staff were nice and helpful and the penthouse was great! Only downside was the climate control...it was 8c on marathon weekend mornings and raining and cold, and whilst the reverse AC warmed the shared areas of the lounge etc, the bedrooms were freezing! But a small concern. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again for next year's race.

Recent holiday in MelbournePosted 15/09/2013
Pros: Its location to town, tram at the door. The staff were most pleasant and helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable.
Location: Location 88 Flinders St, exit to rear to Flinders Lane. Walk through to Collins St for shops and theatre. MCG and tennis in walking distance.
We have just had a holiday in Melbourne, a city we enjoy visiting. Booked a great deal on Expedia and choose the Adina on Flinders St. because of the central location. Another great holiday was had. We had the Loft Apartment unit that adjoins the hotel, access is via the lane at the rear of the hotel and then up the stairs. It was a very spacious and well appointed unit, it was a little noisy early in the mornings with the rubbish trucks and Saturday night the music from a night club. Next time I would try for a room in the main hotel. The lane exited onto Flinders Lane that had plenty of good places to eat and was easy access to either Russell St or Exhibition St.

Perfect in every way!Posted 08/09/2013 on Hotels.com
Adina was a pleasure, perfect in every way. I was only working in the CBD so I bussed in from the APort, the free connection to the Adina on Flinders was a lovely surprise. The apartment was even a better surprise, big, great bed, super shower and all the amenities - washer, dryer, iron and a full kitchen - I make "lots" of coffee! Really I wanted to stay longer - Now THAT is an indication just how good the stay was - Adina ... Well Done!
