“Real Guest!”

I was in town to see family. Sunset has a reputation in my mind as a seedy location in general. This is an excellent hotel - clean and Four Seasons quality of staff. The bar scene never quite got going, but the rooms are large, internet and breakfast are complimentary as are newspapers (including NYT/Journal with no MacPaper in sight thank god!). I'll come back - and the concierge's as cute as a button! a.

“Like I died and went to heaven!”

My fiance and I stayed at the LWH three weeks ago for four nights. It was the start of a three week US holiday and the minute we arrived we knew we'd picked a winner (the lobby smells amazing). Having flown in on an early flight we were thrilled to be able to check in at 8am and we were welcomed by the ridiculously friendly and helpful staff who came to form an integral part of our stay. That night we dined at the hotel restauarant (Gordon Ramsay) and again the service staff were nothing but amazing. We booked a corner suite and the view and room were absolutely beautiful. We loved the hotel so much we decided to stay at the London in NY at the end of our trip. Whilst good, the NY hotel had nothing on the West Hollywood and we have promised to come back to LA and stay again as soon as we can. Loved it! Five star all the way!

good location if you have a car, we stayed in santa monica last time, which was great, but this area is good for seeing hollywood things.. its not touristy which is great..

Santa Monica is fantastic, quiet, clean, accessible, lots to do, short walk to the beach.. its a lonnnng bus to Hollywood though.. need a rental car, LA is vast!

This is an awesome hotel. Great views, great amenities, & well appointed rooms. Perfect location for enjoying West Hollywood. The staff was amazing and the rooftop is really laid back. I will definitely be returning.

“More than a hotel-- almost a destination in it's own right!”

Simply fabulous, is the simplest way to describe our stay at The London. Trendy, tasteful and luxurious rooms; exceptional and friendly service; and an outstanding location (not to mention a sensational continental breakfast, amazing rooftop bar, garden and pool, and supremely comfortable bed). It made our time in LA memorable indeed-- we'll be back!

Area recommendations

Sunset Plaza has many sensational restaurants (and people watching), plus you can't pass by the nearby Getty Centre... a superb place to spend a day.

“nice hotel”

The hotel was very nice and clean. It was beautiful and the room was very nice as well. The only problem I had that the parking cost $32 per day. I believe if you're spending this much money on a hotel, the parking should NOT be that expensive.
