“Would happily return”
The hotel is in a convenient location; the staff were consistently friendly and helpful; and as the rooms were quiet with comfortable beds so getting a good night's sleep was made easier.
“one of London's better boutique hotels”
Recently stayed in London for 7 days and had a wonderful time. The Royal Park Hotel was just what we wanted. Unusual for London, we had a very comfortable king size bed and plenty of space in our room. Everything was clean, for the most part quiet and the bathroom well appointed and newer. The hotel staff was very courteous, most helpful and always smiling. We needed them to get us theater tickets and they not only were helpful, but we had amazing seats. Other than the location not being right in the center of things, we would definitely use this hotel in the future.
“Great Location”
Royal Park Hotel is a boutique hotel only a 6-7 minute walk from Paddington Station. It is very easy to walk there if you come in from Heathrow on the Express Train. There are many good eating places very close by. It is a 15 minute walk to Marble Arch, but buses and the sub way are also close by. All dining at the hotel is 'in room', although you can have breakfast in the garden if the weather is nice. Reception staff were always very polite and helpful. We were rold on check in that complimentary champagne and canapés are served in the drawing room between 7-8 o'clock each evening. However, on both nights that we availed ourselves of this before going out to dinner, we needed to tell reception we were there for that as they do not have anyone in the room serving or looking out for guests coming in for these drinks. The first night no canapés were provided with the drinks and the second night we had to ask for them. This is an area that Royal Park Hotel could improve upon to help the guests feel better valued. There is not an iron in the room but reception quickly arranged for one when we asked. Free wifi is available in all rooms. This is our second stay at Royal Park Hotel and we will definitely return when we are next in London.
“A great place to stay.”
There was some active maintenance going on with the elevator, and our air conditioner made some racket. Other than those two things, the hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. There is no dining room, so the only option for breakfast service is room service or tea/coffee in the living room. If having a sit down breakfast or other meal in the hotel is important to you, this may not be your best choice, though we found a reasonable alternative for breakfast at a neighboring hotel. I would be very comfortable recommending this hotel to friends and family.
“Very helpful staff”
Close to Paddington train station and Hyde Park. My a/c wasnt working and they switched my room right away. Very helpful with directions. It was just a little hard to find and we walked from the train station. When the front desk man saw we were coming he came out of the hotel, came across the street and helped with our luggage. Would definetly stay there again
“Perfect location”
Excellent in all respects. Very comfortable and large rooms.
“Great Hotel Near Hyde Park”
We picked this hotel because of the consistent solid reviews. After having stayed I can concur with them. The hotel is quite nice and we found the staff very friendly. I don't have any real complaints - other than the fact that they were doing upgrades (painting) which woke me up early one day. I definitely would stay here again and would recommend this hotel. The main advantage: solid service, nice hotel, and great location (near the park and the tube).
“Highly Recommended”
This is a very nice little hotel. The desk staff were all professional and superb. Our room was first-rate and quiet (and quite spacious for London). The hotel is a few minutes' walk from Paddington, about a block from Lancaster Gate tube stop, and a block from Hyde Park. I highly recommend Royal Park.
“Would stay again”
The hotel is conveniently located near Paddington Station which is very accessible from Heathrow and allows you easy access to the Underground for touring all of London. It is a short walk from the station to the hotel, in a nice area, very quiet and close to various pubs, cafes, and restaurants. The room was charming, the staff exceptional and we felt so comfortable during our week long visit. We would stay here again.
“Near Paddington but quiet enough”
We wanted a nice hotel with a/c, easy access to the Tube and Heathrow. This one fit the requirements and was very very nice. There was construction next door, but it didn't pose a problem. Walking in rain from Paddington we found the hotel with some difficulty -- but that's only because the signage is not brash and "look at me!" as we're used to.
