“classy”

the hotel staff were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful with all of our needs. the bed was alittle too firm for my taste but the room was nice and the bathroom was large.

Area recommendations
while you are in this hotel you should walk down to chinatown for great food at a reasonable price.
When to go
i went in mid october which was very nice as far as not being too cold. i only needed a jacket most of the time.
Getting around
london is a great city for walking but for longer distances the tube subway is a great way to get around. i reccomend getting an all day pass if you are taking more than two trips on the tube. it is alot cheaper.

“spent 3 nights in November 2011”

I travel to london frequently and this hotel is great find. I stayed here when most of the other hotels I normally stay at were booked or over priced. This hotel was in great condition and location was nice for communing into the city (via central line). I would recommend this hotel.

“good location”

good hotel but small room and required stairs to walk up with luggage. Otherwise, very well located and for London, not overly costly

“Fantastic Location”

I think the best part about this hotel is its location. A walking distance to a number of major museums or to the buzzing West End (both shopping, eating, drinking and theatre) should tick the boxes for most visitors. Conveniently located near various transportation options as well, so getting around is a non-issue either. The rooms are on the smaller side (I was staying in a single room, and whilst the bedroom size was adequate, the bathroom was tiny, even for a fairly slim person like myself). There are certain elements of the room which are getting a bit tired, and could use a refresher. What I love about this hotel, and, in fact, all Radisson Edwardian properties - free and fast wi-fi, with no extra codes/vouchers required, irons in the room (not always available across Europe) and great staff!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind comments on our location, services and facilities. We look forward to meeting you again in the near future.

“Will stay there again. Not waste time looking around for another.”

Great area of the city. Lot to do and quiet at night.

Getting around
Use the tube (subway) or buses to get around. They are clean, safe, easy and cheap. We enjoied using them.

“Great Value”

We stayed 9 nights at this hotel and had excellent service. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the staff exceedingly helpful. All hotel rooms in the UK are smaller than in the US, so the reviewer who complained about room size is not being fair. This was a perfect hotel for the price, and I highly recommend it!

Area recommendations
We stayed in Bloomsbury because it is quiet and yet close to all major attractions in London (within walking distance) and close to the buses and subways. The area is mostly hotels and restaurants and near the British Museum.
Getting there
We booked our transportation from Heathrow airport (London, UK) to & from the hotel with Expedia, and it saved us a lot of money. The drivers were punctual and polite. If you have more than one bag to carry, it's better to use a hotel shuttle than taking a train or bus, which involves going up and down stairs, in and out of the stations, crossing busy streets, etc.
Comment from the hotel's management
Dear Guest, Thank you for your compliments following your stay at the hotel, it is rewarding for us to receive your honest feedback. I will personally ensure your compliments are shared with the team. We look forward to meeting you again soon.

“Average”

Good service and restaurant/bar but the room was tiny - would recommend any other Radisson or 4-star hotel over this one.

Comment from the hotel's management
Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback, I am pleased to read your comments about the good service offered by our team, however I am very sorry if the room was to small for your personal preference. I hope that we will have the pleasure to take care of you during a future visit to London.
