Dining
Terrace Restaurant and Bar - Serving modern French cuisine at lunch and dinner, this split-level restaurant has a vaulted glass ceiling, large Doric columns, and an outdoor eating area that opens in summer. Oversized table lamps, original artwork, white linens, and smooth stone-block walls set the scene on the upper level. A few steps down, a more relaxed seating area offers sofas, leather armchairs, and bistro tables. The brightly lit bar has light marble floors and a grand piano, often used for live entertainment.
The Oak Room - Extravagantly carved gilt Rococo details, grand piano, and huge glass chandeliers make this a splendid place for tea. Little changed since the hotel was first built in 1909, the interior glows with a rose-colored light reflected from the paneling, gilt busts, urns, and mirrored French doors. Serving afternoon tea only.
Longitude 08 - Intimate seating areas are separated by draped fabrics in this modern-designed bar that features premium coffee and cocktails with a master barista. Guests can enjoy their beverages on glowing cubes in place of tables and can relax in privacy in this recently renovated bar.

“Great location, but lots of mistakes on bill”
Hi, Location: this hotel is in a perfect location, in the heart of Piccadilly Circus, close to Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Soho, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, etc. Room: Rooms are nice - small, but with everything you need. You get tea, slippers, and a robe to use and there is a towel warmer in the bathroom. Overall, very nice inside the room. Beds are firm, but bedding is nice. You have to pay $16 a day for internet. Hotel: There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel in addition to room service, but I didn't visit either. There is also a fitness center, business center, and spa, but I didn't visit them either. Bill: When I checked out, there were tons of incorrect charges on my bill. They charged me for using the phone every day (I never dialed a call without using a calling card- they cross checked my calling numbers with the numbers dialed and they didn't match so maybe the cleaning staff had a good time calling around). They charged me for breakfast for 2 (I didn't have breakfast and was staying alone). They charged me for a swanky night at the bar (I don't drink and never even went to the bar). They charged me for coffee service (I don't drink coffee and didn't order it). The staff agreed to investigate, but as of now (3 days later), I still have hundreds of dollars in charges on my credit card from the hotel for these incorrect items. I would have rated the hotel a mark higher, but this was a nasty surprise at the end of a nice holiday.
“Excellent London Hotel”
We stayed in Piccadilly not really knowing the area - the location is perfect for sightseeing. There is a tube station and several bus stops right next to the hotel. It's a short walk from Trafgar Square, the theatre district, Soho, China Town and tons of shopping. As for the hotel itself, the service was excellent - I didn't have several problems with the wi-fi which were likely the result of us being in a room on the far northeast corner of the hotel. You could only pick up signal if sitting near the door to the room and the login was such a pain I had to call the help desk to get it to work the first time. I actually got tonsillitis while I was there and didn't make it out of the room for two days. But housekeeping dutifully waited for the half hour on those days that we left to get food and cleaned our room. They brought us fresh towels every day - excellent housekeeping. The room we stayed in was a club room we booked on a promotion - very spacious, king size bed and had two full bathrooms. The television service was limited but this might be how tv is in the UK - I don't know. We didn't get much of a chance to try the amenities such as the spa or restaurant because we were out sightseeing so much. The club room was convenient and had food, coffee, and computers with Internet hooked to printers in case you need to print something out. Overall, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at - beautiful, comfortable, luxurious, and with great staff.
“very good location”
Great hotel, except the rooms were fairly small and for 2 people to get around was a challenge at times.Great and helpful staff.
“Neutral”
Although nothing terrible to state about this hotel, the only superb element is the location. Room was horribly noisy (windows facing regent st.) and the room was not cleaned on Saturday we were gone for eight hours and returned to freshen at 430pm and the attendant met us at the door, what the heck? Room was cleaned well each day when done at a 'normal' time. The staff was helpful and courteous so overall as I titled the review I am neutral and likely would choose another option when I return to London.
“Very nice”
Room was nice and service was great. Restaurant seemed overpriced but otherwise a great experience.
“"Great Location" Heather from Philly”
This hotel was in a perfect location, right near the Piccadilly line. Hotel staff was great with answering all of our questions and telling us the best places to go. Hotel bar was quite pricey but any hotel in this area will be that way. If we ever travel back to London we would definatly stay again!
“not impressed”
not a value for money. old sink, which didnt work well even after 2 times guy was using his sspecial plumbing device. wi-fi was not free. breakfast menu table was very limited. same lunch/dinner for whole 4 days of our stay.
“Good hotel but concierge is a rip-off”
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and everything was top notch. However, since this was my first time in London, I booked a taxi from Heathrow to the hotel at Picadilly Circus through the hotel concierge. They charged me 89 pounds for the trip. I found out during the trip that the cost ranges from 29 - 49 pounds by taxi depending on whether you want a large or small car. I actually paid 49 pounds during my return journey for a Mercedes mini-van to drop me to Heathrow. Considering the high rates of the hotel, the concierge should not be out to make money in my opinion. Apart from that, everything was great. The location is awesome and I could walk to all the important places very easily. The open top bus tours also are very close to the location. I would definitely stay there again.
“Every time I visit London, it will be my first choice to stay!”
Located in the center of London makes your life really easy! Museums, theaters, attractions, nightlife, Soho, Chinatown all nearby! Good Value for Money!
“hotel is nicely located”
The hotel was not bad but I think I was given the wrong room . It would have been much more convenient to me and my family if Iwas given the third or above floors. The scenery was a wall. I hope next time I will get a better room with a scenery A/Rahman
