“Stay here when visiting London.”

We stayed here overnight, between flights from Amsterdam, and a non-connector (different airline) early the next morning back to the States. Staff was super courteous, friendly, and helpful from check -in, through two meals, and check-out. they were all charming, friendly, gracious. We even got a ride back to the terminal, which we asked for since both I and my wife have a number of bone and joint issues, and were on our last legs at the end of an exhausting vacation. The normal 6 minutes walk became a 1 and half minute easy "commute". The hotel is strikingly beautiful, wonderful open lay-out of center courtyard was creative and attractive. Meals at the main restaurant #Sat night buffet#, and breakfast the next morning #buffet also# were terrific. May have been two of our best meals on the whole trip. Hotel wonderfully quiet; you had no idea you were adjacent to Europe's busiest airport. Never heard a plane. Didn't even see them! The layout, comfort, quality of food, and staff were all a shock. I had expected that the hotel was attractive due to its convenience, and they wouldn't have to bother very much in the other areas. I was pleasantly mistaken! We've stayed in London for much more money and had rooms in which literally we couldn't fit our luggage; I would like to stay here the next time we visit London, and commute into town. #17 minutes on the new high speed train out of LHR>#

“Great Location”

The hotel is conveniently located for guests with early/late flights out of Heathrow. Very well upkept, looks very modern being an older property. Very friendly staff. Could have luggage carts available.

“Wonderful”

I loved this hotel. Everything was wonderful. The only negative thing is that there's no free Wi-Fi (come on Hilton, you can get free Wi-Fi in the jungle in 2012, wake up). Other than that, everything was wonderful. Would stay here again.

“Nice Hotel Near Heathrow”

Very nice and super convenient for a short stop over in London, esp. if connecting to an international flight next day (free shuttle to Terminal 5). Great breakfast. To get there, go to Terminal 4 (not 5) and go to departures and take short ramp to hotel.

“Great hotel for business people...”

Super great location and services!!!! Very friendly staff... The best place when you arrive late (and/or under bad weather conditions) or when you have a one day business schedule in London and have to continue your journey early next day...

“Too much walking with luggage”

The hotel was perfect if you must stay at the airport. Otherwise, I would stay in London and a less expensive hotel and take the Tube to the airport. We had to switch trains prior to arriving at the airport and it was an 8 minute wait. Then it was a long walk through the airport just to get to the entrance to the walkway to the hotel. Then it was another long walk to the hotel in the covered walkway and then you have to go outside to get to the hotel. The next morning we had to take the airport express train to our terminal as we did not fly out of Terminal 3. It was a lot of work with our luggage. We would have been better off taking the Tube directly from London to our terminal at the airport. But, it was a nice hotel.

“Terminal 4 Hilton - a Great Place to Stay”

I stayed at the Hilton on a layover on British Airways from Rome back to the U.S. on Nov. 10, 2012. The staff were excellent. The concierge was helpful in narrowing down what we would be able to see in London given our arrival time of 1800 and the time needed to travel into London. We opted for the London Express (15 minutes to Paddington) which was well worth the money as the Underground can take almost an hour. A free Hilton shuttle bus runs to/from Terminal 5 every 15 minutes. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from Terminal 4 via a covered walkway, which was very convenient. The room was as requested and in pristine condition. Coming from the U.S. where we just turn on the tap, the water for the shower was a challenge to regulate, but that was a personal issue not the hotel's problem. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel has an automatic wake-up service, which rang the room on time. The reservation included breakfast which was substantial. I would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent hotel for Terminal 4 travellers”

Efficient, quick, polite service at check in. Room clean and comfortable. I checked in late evening and left very early so didnt use most services, but would recommend this hotel. So convenient for early flights out of Terminal 4!
