“Totally awesome”

What an amazingly cool place to stay!! Enjoyed every minute of it - totally luxury and something unique and nice to look at with every turn. The cocktail bar was also great...

“2 nights in Hobart”

The service was fantastic and the location of the hotel is excellent and far away from the busy Davey Street. It was the best hotel that we stayed in whilst on our holiday in Tasmania. See view from our room.

“Great boutique hotel with lots of character”

Awesome boutique hotel in great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also of a high standard and the matre de had a great knowldge of the local wines. My husband had the mushroom risotto and it was the best risotto ive had in a long time. Would definitely stay again.

“Best hotel in Tasmania”

One of the best converted old buildings into a hotel. Excellent service. Outstanding restuarant. Complimentary valet service. Excellent front of house staff.

“Pros and cons”

Fantastic location and we liked our Standard room, particularly the bathroom - good size and nice outfitting and the wonderful old warehouse feel to it. The big drawback for us was the noises - when the people in the room above flushed the toilet, we got a tremendous sound of running water down the waste pipe! Also could hear the neighbour in either the next room or above quite clearly talking on their phone. I know it is an old building so we allowed for this but if you're fussed about this, I wouldn't recommend it.

“Great experience”

LOVED the hotel - great location and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. Great atmosphere and really modern while preserving the heritage of the building. Concierge very useful in recommending restaurants, etc. Only downsides were our room (102) was very dark from all the wood panelling. It was also a cold day and it was freezing in the room until we got an extra heater. Staff were very, very helpful and did everything to address the situation quickly. Great cafe downstairs for breakfast.

“Easter 2012”

The walls were thin, hence woken at 6:30 by baby screaming next door. The staff were great but the hotel was looking a little shabby, look at the roof in the bar. Also the showers need to be regrouted
