“Good hotel, but appalling internet options”

Great hotel location, fine rooms and helpful staff, but terrible internet options. Wireless was available, but not in the floor my room was in, could not connect with Windows Vista, very expensive with ridiculous bandwidth limits (200MB in daily option).

Location is great. 2 short blocks from Cavile Rd but without the noise. Beach is close as well. 2 minutes and you are at the surfers paradise arch on the beach. Buffet Breakfast is great as well arrive late to avoid the crowds. close to restuarants etc. Pool is Ok bit small and in need of a clean, but functional they need more deck chairs though! Room was OK TV no flat screen ( so maybe they havent refurbed in a while) But the room was a good size and clean which is what you want. The gym is not a gym. So if you plan to work off the pounds this aint the place for you. I have told them about the gym perhaps they will fix it. Its not a fully equipped gym. Its got weights (some broken) and one dysfunctional treadmill

“Not much for a 4.5 star hotel”

hotel housekeeping is not very good for a 4.5 star hotel. Furnitures in the lobby need replacing or good cleanup. service staff need to be more customer focussed. One staff member named, Thelma who was at the Fables Restaurant breakfast is good at customer service, she smiles and greets customers and makes them feel welcome. But apart from that, hotel housekeeping and cleanliness need more improvement. Internet connection should be more accessible, too.

“Good location - uncomfortable sleep arrangements”

The bed was supposed to be a Queen size, but was just two singles pushed together. It dipped in the middle and the crack inbetween made it very uncomfortable to sleep in.

Beds are not confortable,moveing so easy, cheep towels,sauna not working(4 days) Connection rooms must gives to big family or friends groups ,not to us.820 was our room,We heared all arguments next door,some times laudy sex noise as well.

Warning: rooms are privately owned so maintenance and renovations are optional. The Budget rooms would only be equivalent to 2/3 star, desperately in need of renovation, and the walls are super thin. Management were great, very understanding. Moved us to a Deluxe room which was 4 star as advertised and very nice.

“no accessability for people with disabilities..”

im a paraplegic so i thought id stay in the mantra as it is a multy millon dollor building and in my situation these buildings are useuly catered well for people with disabilties and useuly have great accessabilty of the facilities, lifts, ramps ect. when i arrive check in was bungled, the room only had one bed instead of two like id specified, no biggie though, they moved us to another room, woke up in the morning thought i go down have a swim, spa, and sauna to start the morning when to my dismay there were about 40 stairs to access the facilities, NO LIFT to use them.! how stupids that? that building must of cost 10's of millions of dollors im sure they could lash out and spend 15 grand on a survice lift so people with dissabilities can use the faculties to. anyway after that i was a bit anoyed but delt with it. the next day when i woke i need a towel, so i rang reception and asked could i have a towel please, they said certinly sir il have it brought up, half an hour passed still no towel, so i rang reception again asked about the towel and they say; oh sorry sir we dont have any room service today, i said; so can i come and pick my the towel up? she said sue theirs one hear at reception. would of been great if they had told me that to start with.. at check out i think i was invisable because no one would check me out i waited for at least 5 minites, i was the only one in the line and 4 girls behind the counter grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, bad management, bad access
