The room was very clean and called a family room. A small sitting area with a twin bed and main room with a king bed was well appointed for three people. The hotel was difficult to find from the street, because the hotel sign was partially missing and not lit up. The breakfast each morning was a nice touch. The desk staff did not have dinner recommendations when we got in our first night. Suggesting that desk staff knows local restaurants that are within 5 minutes for good, pasta, seafood, gelato and pizza. We were tired and didn’t want to go far with a 6 year old. The desk staff did give us a map. The hotel was walkable to the Duomo, the art galleries, shopping and close to the the train station.

Art Atelier is such a nice hotel to stay in to explore all Florence has to offer. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast each morning is so wonderful. A highlight of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We were one week at Art Atelier hotel and it was wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was great.

Staff was outsting from the beginning to the end. I appreciate all the gelp and support James gave m during my stay. At the breakfast area, I was pampered by the a female staff (unfortunately don't know her name) that make me feel like I was the most important guess in the entire hotel and I really and truly appreciate that. Without a doubt, my best whole Italy experience was in Florence and Art Atelier is a big part of it. Thanks for such an incredible experience...

A small hotel in a very good location - near the train station, Santa Maria Novella, San Lorenzo, the Duomo and only 15 minutes walk to the Uffizi. It’s in a quiet back street which means there are no views - but you go out for those. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was far better than I had expected for a small hotel. Very good selection of continental and some hot dishes. Best roasted tomatoes i’ve ever had!!! Room was pleasant and had all the facilities required: safe, fridge, big bath. Could do with a bit of redecorating is my only criticism. All in all though a very pleasant and well located hotel.

Beautiful hotel, helpful and friendly reception staff, and great buffet breakfast included. Spacious and comfortable room and quiet street. Close walk to everything including the train station , no taxis required.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The hotel was very quiet and charming. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. The manger was very knowledgeable of Florence's historic sites. Thanks to all for a great stay.

This quietly excellent hotel is idealy situated for a stay in Florence. Only a five minute walk from the main railway station, it is equally close to some of the stunning architectural and cultural highlights of this Italian city. The staff are both friendly and very, very helpful. The high quality buffet breakfast provides an excellent start to a day of exploring. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is comfortable, well-managed, and clean and the staff is extremely helpful. The location could not be better for an easy walk to all the attractions in Florence. Highly recommend!

Loved hotel and staff was awesome. Very nice continental breakfast including eggs. some parts of hotel a bit dated, but clean and great service. Spacious bathroom. Area had lots of restaurants to choose from.

Fantastic location close to the train, the Duamo and walk to everything and the staff was fantastic! Breakfast was good too. The room is older and nothing special but the bed is comfy and AC worked great!

Hotel was perfectly situated Breakfast was lovely with a good selection Reception staff were friendly and very helpful even recommending and making reservations for us for dinner. Each one that was recommended was perfect. I would say in some areas of the hotel are looking tired and the carpets in the corridors need a steam clean. Overall our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, we would return and recommend.

Hotel is close to the train station and lots of restaurants and shopping around it. Hotel is older but has really good character and very clean. Breakfast has many options and staff was excellent.

Hotel staff were excellent and moved us to another room when the first did not work out. Very much appteciate the breakfast help on our tour bus day when we lacked time to sit down. Pictures on web site should show room up front and not lobby (pictures provided should be changed). Two coin op laundries, small groceries and plenty of dining just around corner. Everything walkable from this location. Short walk from train station. Inner city environment and feel.

What a lovely and intimate space. Within walking distance of everything but felt like we were in our own little world. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was perfect, and recommendations were given for our stay. Absolutely will return if we are in Florence again.

Close to train but recommend you go elsewhere.
The gentleman at the front desk was fabulous. He was super helpful and gave us great recommendations. But the hotel left quite a bit to be desired. Our room reeked of air freshener. We had to open the windows because we couldn’t breathe. Once it aired out, we understood that the room was a bit musty. I do not think this should be a 4 star hotel. It should be 3. It felt dirty and the breakfast did not feel fresh. It’s in serious need of an upgrade of furniture, air ventilation, and fabrics. The experience gave me mild grade nausea. Also, we were one of 4 people staying in the hotel and they put us directly in the front of the construction across the street. The drilling was so loud it sounded like the windows were open when they were not. They should have put us in another area of the hotel. We checked out early and moved to another hotel.

The air conditioning was not working we were there 7 days and it was the same the whole time.The staff was excellent esp the front desk. Paolo and Paolo, Jeffrey and James were so accommodating and helpful. Property is very clean and breakfast was more than sufficient. Area is very safe and close to everything.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel with helpful friendly staff. Very conveniently located near the Santa Maria Novella Train Station, and a quick walk down to il Duomo. The neighborhood was slightly run down, but OK. Carpet in the halls was due for a cleaning, but otherwise very nice and well kept. Nice courtyard terrace just across from our room. For those arriving by train or airport tram, the location could not be more convenient.

Great hotel, Great location and Great service!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence and having a beautiful hotel to stay at made it even more enjoyable. Staff was very friendly, and they paid attention to every detail. The breakfast was super good, location could not be beat. Close to the square, market and lots of land marks. Train station you could walk to. I would totally recommend staying here.
