“Our Anton & Erin treat”

Our first visit to this hotel and hopefully not the last. Staff without exception were extremely polite and helpful. Everything everywhere was spotless, even a little clinical, but this is no cause for criticism! Using a public car park was slightly inconvenient but was not a problem.Dinner was just a tad disappointing but this could have been down to our taste - breakfast was first class. Overall we were delighted with our choice of hotel which made our Bournemouth visit a resounding success.

“Great find opposite the BIC”

Stayed here for a show at the BIC, chose mainly for location - just across the road, but very pleasantly surprised by the stay. Rooms airy and well equipped, comfortable bed, and drinkable coffee in the room. The restaurant was first class and offered a pre-show menu that was well presented and delicious. The staff from reception through to the bar were attentive, pleasant and made one welcome. Will certainly use again as this hotel heightened the whole show experience

“Our stay in bournemouth”

Exellent location to seafront and shops. Clean room. We stayed on the ground floor and there was a wall right in front of our window which disturbed our view which was a shame. Bed was a bit too soft for me. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast and continental choices were very good.

“Good weekend hotel”

Very pleasant weekend stay. Ideally placed opposite the BIC. Staff very friendly. Cap parking over the road in the multi storey at an extra £7.50 was not advised in advance so not great but overall it was good.

“Not 4 star standard”

While we cannot fault the location of this hotel, directly overlooking the Bournemouth sea front and pier, we felt that, for a 4 star hotel, the service left a lot to be desired. We were offered no help with our bags on arrival and were given no information about the location of the restuarant or the times and arrangements for breakfast, also be prepared to pay £7.50 a day to use the hotel parking. Our room, a classic double with seaview, was well decorated and a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small (so small in fact the the toilet roll holder is located directly behind your head!!) The size of the bathroom also meant that there was no towel rail and nowhere the store or hand either clean or wet towels. The bed itself was comfy and the flat screen tv included a dvd player which is quite a nice touch. The room was a little too warm at night but we turned down the radiator which helped (you cant really keep the window open due to traffic noise on the main road below.) We ordered breakfast in our room on the Saturday but had to go down to reception in person as they did not answer the phone when we rang to tell them that some items were missing (milk, preserves, spoons for the cereal, croissants). We refused to pay the tray charge on this and ate in the restaurant the following morning (much better quality and quantity of food!). Overall, we loved Bournemouth but, for the money, we will be taking our custom to an alternative 4 star hotel in the future.
