After waiting ten minutes for the front desk my room was disgusting. I daren't use the shower facilities and made sure I used other public toilet facilities where possible.
Mould in the bathroom.
Plumbing clean as a public washroom.

Awful. Booked but never had the reservation. Was then given a key for a room after a hour of taking details and then him finally admitting the system was down and was given a key to someone else’s room who was in the room. Will never return. Thank you to Matthew from hotels.com who helped me get a full refund.

Find somewhere else

Had awful nights sleep because you can hear everything. People walking past our door and our room was right next to the stairs so constant creaking of the Stair’s. The hotel receptionists were polite but not very welcoming. Had to pay £50 deposit when I arrived which I was not told about and it takes 5 working days to go back in. The shower was very dirty and I did not want to use it. The tv was hanging off the wall. All in all would not recommend

There was dust everywhere in our room. The stairs looked like they were caving in. The bathroom door was broken. The shower was with extremely hot or extremely cold. The taps in the sink moved as a whole rather than just the bit where you turn it on and off

The staff are very kind and friendly. It is a budget b&b but it is clean and is very good value. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and is satisfactory. It is vert central to the town and sea but tucked away so your not bombarded by the noise of Ben so close to the town centre. I would stay here again.

Seaside town

We were put into a smaller room than we booked, the shower did not work properly, the room was not big enough for a double bed. Access to an electric socket by the table meant we we had to boil the kettle on the floor, one of the radiators did not work.

Close to sea and town

Travel rest was very good for the price very close to the sea and town centre, easy parking was a bonus ,friendly staff. Hotel is tired room and bed was small Very erratic shower but fine for a few days.

Brilliant value.

Hotel was clean and reasonably well presented, and is well positioned for the town centre and seafront. Unfortunately the shower was cold, I mean cold to the point that there was no warm water at all at the shower head. We asked for a different room and this was provided immediately. It is a two star hotel at a one star price, and this is a very fair rating. It provided excellent value for money, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room was so tiny bearly fitted double bed in room toilet brush was disgusting marks over dink and toilet seat kettle was by window but plug socket was over other side of room even though room was paid for they took a £30 deposit which was not mentioned and never been asked to do this anywhere else

You get what you pay for, a little tired and used, but for the price good value. Clean and a good bar. Location is great and the pub next door is excellent. The rooms are small as is the bathroom, though the bathroom has good shower.
