"Just next to the canal and the brewery is a plus, but it’s a little far from the Sakaimachi shopping street. Rooms are normal but clean, hotel staff is friendly. Carpark is a little unexpected, using a parking conveyor lift but staff are on hand to guide you through the process "

"Initially I wanted to go for a trip by car but I was too late to get both the air ticket and the rental car reservation as I wanted. So I went for a city trip to Hakodate on foot and by public transport. This is very well possible by the famous tramway and buses too. "

"Check in and out services are good. Meals arrangements can be improved, especially the 3days advance notice for dinner should be informed in advance. We arrived on a Monday, and was informed majority of the restaurants are closed!"
