This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel and I really love the hospitality that the hotel provides. Amenities are all great, breakfast in room, tea break special are all exceptional. Only downside is that Bathtub and shower are together makes showering a little difficult when the shower head is too far.
Renovated old hotel. Sizable comfortable rooms.
Tidy but there was still hair in the bathtub. However, staff quickly changed the room for me.
No amenities such as pool, hot tub or gym
Room was clean. Old decor, carpets, and bathroom reflects age of the hotel. No gym. Only a paid TV looks like system from 90s or 80s. Otherwise service and staff were good. The best part about is the location next to the subway station and the park.
Great location just a few meters from the subway station and minutes away from tons of dining, shopping and fun. Staff was excellent!
Highly recommend!
I didn’t have high expectations since it’s an old hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent facilities and location. The view of the park from the hotel was stunning, and I really enjoyed being able to take a walk in the park too.
The Park Hotel in Sapporo is great value these days. The cheaper rooms are a bit tired but if you get a park view room and include breakfast you will have a great stay. The hotel’s Japanese and Chinese restaurants are excellent and the surrounding Nakajimakoen park is beautiful. It’s my favorite place to stay in the fabulous city of Sapporo!
The staff was attentive and friendly, making the check-in process easy to complete. The hotel itself is fancy and the rooms were clean and quiet. Parking is not free, there is a lot in front of the hotel in which you can get a parking pass that is stamped by the hotel staff upon check out. The price may be steeper than other nearby parking lots, but I didn't check. It is also very close to a subway station, which was convenient. Overall I enjoyed staying at this hotel.
**What we liked:**
- Delicious breakfast
- Helpful staff
- Quiet location, near train
- Convenient parking
- Large room with 3 twin beds
**Didn't like as much:**
- Slightly "dated" rooms, kinda "old" feeling
- Not as many restaurants in walking distance as more central areas
Conveniently located near the train station. Hotel is a little old but adequately maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job during our 5 nights in the hotel.
Concierge really helped me out when I forgot to book an advanced seat for the highway bus. They took care of everything swiftly and promptly! This hotel was right outside of Nakajima park which was a great walk especially in the middle of winter.
