"We recently spent 3 nights at Silky Oaks Lodge in early February 2024. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The resort itself was gorgeous! We loved our bungalow and the view of the Mossman River. The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. We arranged some day trips through the front desk, ABC Snorkeling to the Great Barrier Reef and Walk About Cultural Tours to explore the beach and the Mossman River Gorge. "Ferntree was basic accommodation. Towels were shabby, lighting around the place was not sufficient at night, restaurant food was below par, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise between rooms was far too evident"
