“Convenient location + unique modern style... thumbs up”
The location was a quick walk from Norreport train station or the Central train station. We loved the unique transformation of every room by different artists as sponsored by Volkswagen... it was fun to pick out our room, and then discover the details of the design. The European style beds were comfortable, plenty of TV channels. We got a courtyard view room which was totally quiet. Even the elevator is artistic! The free breakfast was good and filling: yogurt/granola, danishes, fruit, coffee, juices. The lobby is modern and big enough to meet friends, and the kitchen/bar looked hip but not uncomfortable. All of the staff we meant spoke fluent English (and of course Danish). This is such a unique experience for this price range... it's a "Design Hotel" at 3 star prices. Plus, you can walk over to the Danish design museum, stop at great cafes and plenty of shops... we really enjoyed our stay.
“Great hotel, expensive bar - drink elsewhere and have a great time”
No problems with the hotel, great location, comfy room, great people working there. The only problem was that the bar was the most expensive I have been to in the city - it is an expensive city at the best of times and the lady who charged me at checkout said that she had been to many dearer places which I won't argue with, but I hadn't found these places. Check the bar tarriff before purchasing is my only advice.
“Quiet and convenient”
The Park Hotel was recommended by a Danish friend, and I can say that it did live up to his recommendation. If you are looking for very upscale accomodations, this is not the place for you; however, if you want a centrally-located, service-oriented, comfortable, quiet hotel in the heart of Copenhagen, you will do well at the Park. It is within a ten-minute walk of the Norreport rail/metro station, and just a few blocks from the beginning of the Stroget -- the pedestrian-only street that connects the Town Hall area with Kongens Nytorv, or Kings Square.
“would recommend to all friends”
We stayed for 2 nights and most of time were out in town. We did not eat in the hotel. The hotel is located very conveniently. The beds were comfortable. The shower was clean. WiFi was really strong.
“Great Hotel, fantastic location.”
Would stay again, business or pleasure good overal clenliness and location was hard to beat for shops, restaurants and sights. 5 min walk max to metro 30min from airport.
“cool & funky”
if you want something a bit different & arty then stay here, we had a crazy room, with crazy wall paper!!!, very central can walk to everything.
“Needs some maintenance.”
Meh. The individually-decorated rooms are unique, but have a short shelf-life. After all, when someone stains the carpet, or peels the wallpaper, or chips the furniture in a room that was decorated by an artist some years ago, the damage can't really be repaired. Hotel Fox was probably quite a bit nicer when it opened, but now it seems run-down. Maintenance was poor - the shower head was clogged with mineral deposits and sprayed all over and the toilet barely flushed. I don't regret staying here -- it was cheap, convenient, and stylish -- but I suspect there are better options in the area.
“Could do with an update”
The hotel was indeed quirky and our "sleep well" room certainly was a sight to see... but the years have already taken their toll and the plethora of colour on the walls is fading. The curtains could really do with a wash, and what were those strange stains on the top of the quilt cover?? Luckily the shower was fantastic... which was necessary to ease the cricks in the neck after sleeping on the flat-as-a-tack pillows. Ultimately the saving grace for this hotel - the location cannot be beaten.
“Amazing experience”
The whole place is very special. From the coridor with its feathers chandelier to the restaurant and plastic grass on the tables, hotel fox is full of surprises. The entire building is a piece of modern art. They didnt push the designs to the bathroom that are a bit small.
“Small, arty hotel,”
The people were very nice; the room was totally different and ecologically astute. A different artist designed each room. It is sparse. Watch the charges - we got taken by a merchant who charged his services to our hotel account for fixing our wheelchair and was way over priced!
