"The staff was incredibly kind, giving us detailed directions into Matsumoto and even going out of their way to drop us off at a more convenient train station! The property is tucked up in the mountains, and it was magical to gaze at the magnificent view while soaking in the rotemburo (outdoor bath). "We enjoyed our stay at the Celecton. I recommend getting the breakfast, it was very convenient as there are no konbini readily close by. We enjoyed using their onsen as well. It was nice to be within walking distance of the castle and is definitely worth visiting. We stayed here as a base for a trip to Tsmago and the Nakasendo trail. It is also a good base for a day trip to Nagano."
