"Great hotel, centrally located"
I stayed here for 10 days on business and had no complaints. The included breakfast rate was a great deal for such a nice, high end hotel in London. If it only had gym facilities it would be my go to everytime in London,

"Spectacular views of London!"
From the moment you walk into the room there is a wow factor when you see the views of Tower Bridge, Thames River, London Tower etc. At night you have a different perspective with all the lights and realise that London never sleeps. The view was stunning!

Very well located. Excellent Staff. Small details did not work, like a console with different outlets, that could be wonderful to have if it worked.

"Comfortable stay in a good location."
Hotel was elegant and comfortable. All public areas were nicely furnished and very clean as was our room. We were able to check in early and were given a complimentary upgrade so it was a very nice gesture, the executive king room was very large with lovely shower room and walk in wardrobe. Both windows in the room opened too which was a bonus as we always sleep with the windows open. The room was on 6th floor so we had no noise issues and found the neighbourhood quiet anyway!! The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We didn't actually eat at the hotel but the food looked very nice. Must just mention that all the staff were very polite and friendly, in fact the only gripe we had is that one of the lifts was out of service but we just used the stairs instead!! Will definitely visit again.

"The only place I would stay in London!"
Everything about Number 16 is number one! The staff are great, the food and afternoon tea is first rate, the rooms, albeit small (all London rooms are) are beautiful and well decorated. The garden is wonderful and should be enjoyed in the morning for the amazing breakfast. I loved the neighborhood of South Kensington, and would live there if I could. It is 2 blocks to the tube, with great restaurants etc within walking distance including the V&A, nat hx museum and science museum as well as kensington gardens and palace. Would not stay in London if I cant stay here.

"great location for a great hotel"
From start to finish our stay was excellent. The friendly reception staff made us extremely welcome and as we were there well before the stated check in time, we were asked if we wanted to go into the bar for drinks while the housekeeper made sure our room was available and ready. It was ready 30 minutes later and we were unpacked and exploring London before the normal check in time. Throughout our stay everything was perfect. Our room was fabulous, elegant and tastefully furnished and the bathroom was heaven. The design and d├ęcor throughout the hotel was great. All the hotel staff that we came across were such pleasant people and the service was impeccable. We will certainly be returning to the Soho Hotel or maybe try another in this small group of hotels as they all look wonderful and in excellent locations. Wish we had known about them before. Although we have stayed in several London hotels, from large to boutique, this one really beats them all.

    Where to stay in London?

Enclosed by an orbital motorway, London is a mighty 620 square miles of metropolis which appears to have its own gravitational field, yet no single point of focus. Don't be daunted. It isn't necessary to introduce yourself to every inch of every borough to get to know England's capital, but instead it's important to embrace its diversity, from Big Ben to Brixton, and plan your journey well.

London eludes definition. A place of extremes and contradictions, it has transformed from robustly English capital to truly multicultural city. Having experienced Renaissance, revolution, and revival, and survived fire, plague, and war, the city has a pretty interesting history, the best of which it holds on to. Visit its monuments and museums and you'll come across ancient and modern London, and learn about its wealth, poverty, ambitions, reality, and make-believe. From the Tower of London to Buckingham Palace, the major monuments pull in the crowds, but make sure you take some time to explore its back alleys, quiet squares, and colorful markets.

    Art in the city

As red buses, black cabs, and pigeons encircle Trafalgar Square, there is no mistaking where you are. Stop by the National Gallery to look at some of the world's finest artworks, ranging from Leonardo's meticulous sketches to Turner's chromatic landscapes, or for a fix of modern art, visit the converted Bankside power station, the Tate Modern. The gallery covers art from 1900 to the present day, and its enormous Turbine Hall displays specially commissioned works.

    Razzmatazz and all that jazz

Finding entertainment in London is as easy as finding books in a library. In the West End theater district, you can choose from musicals, theater, and comedy shows. Based on the songs of the band Queen, We Will Rock You is currently showing at the Dominion theater. From April to October, you can see some of Shakespeare's greatest plays in the faithfully reconstructed Globe theater. It's no surprise that London attracts influential artists from all musical genres; and you can listen in pubs, theaters, basements, arenas, churches, and parks.

    Serious shopping and hearty meals

There's great shopping throughout the city. From high-end Harrods to cheap and cheerful Camden market, the city caters to every budget and taste. When it comes to food, the same rule applies, so whether you're after a comforting English breakfast, a reviving curry, or tea at the Ritz, you'll never run out of options.

The London Eye will give you a bird's-eye view of the river Thames looping through the capital, as well as the city's many parks. In a city of skyscrapers, buildings on top of buildings, and crowded public transport, London is thankfully protective of its beautiful green spaces. Find everything from rose garden to meadow and woodland in its eight Royal Parks, which offer free guided walks to explore the flora and fauna, and trace the city's royal, political, and literary associations.
