"A very relaxing hotel, with a luxurious feel."
A little disappointed that we had over 1hr wait for our room to be ready (even though we arrived about an hour after check in time). At least our bags were minded, as we explored the hotel and surrounds to pass the time. Everything else was wonderful. 4-5 star service for moderately priced accomodation. Pool was relaxing, with food and drink service. Appreciated computers downstairs to use internet. A young lady played beautiful (lute?) music in the lobby one evening. Also sold carved soaps (which are everywhere in Thailand). Nice ambience at all times. Would stay again, preferably for longer than 3 nights.

"A little bit of paradise!!!"
We came needing a quiet, restful, relaxing time away... and this far exceeded our desires! The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive to details. The pool area is an oasis in a lush, tropical rain forest setting. If beauty nurtures your soul (as it does mine!), then this is the perfect place to find refreshment.

"A welcome break in Chiang Mai"
We had a very pleasant stay at the Ratilanna and wished it were more than just the 4 nights . It did feel like one of the 'grand hotels' , although of the Lanna style . The staff were unbelievable attentive , pleasant & polite . The food was excellent . As was breakfast . The choice was good , with a individually cooked eggs & omelettes , etc . Beautifully appointed rooms although I felt our bathroom could benefit from a small upgrade . Everything else was perfect . Beautiful infinity pool , as was the hotel's position , on the banks of the Ping River . Difficult to believe you are near the centre of a bustling city . A very peaceful location , especially if the volume of the enthusiastic female singer can be muted a little !

"Highly recommend this hotel"
Absolutely stunning resort...picturesque and peaceful. A great place to come to relax and pamper yourself. Rooms were beautiful and spacious with stunning views from the balcony. It is very remote - nothing is within walking distance but resort is relatively large and there's a lot to do. There's a beautiful spa and pool as well as other activities if you're interested (bicycling, cooking classes, etc)

"Nice hotel"
We stayed in the older part of the hotel, which seemed average after the gorgeous lobby but was still a really nice, large room. We had a separate bedroom, bathroom and living area which was nice. The pool is small and the water maybe not the absolutely cleanest looking but we still went swimming almost everyday so it was clearly still good! We didn't eat at the restaurant as it was pricey for Thailand standards but it seemed nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early after an overnight bus ride which was very appreciated. The wifi in the rooms was very spotty but we were able to connect eventually most times. The hotel at first seemed a bit in the middle of no where, but once we had a map we were pleased to find it was within comfortable walking distance to a lot of neat attractions, including an authentic market, the night market, one of the weekend walking streets and the 3D museum. Overall a nice hotel.

"Lots of green, relaxing hotel"
Pros - Nice hotel with lots of trees around, can really relax your eyes n mind. - Low dense arouns hotel, which is a super bonus for Chiang Mai trip. - Just a little bit away from Old City, for me, its very good to escape from business. Only 100 baht tuk tuk to go to Old City, easy! Cons - Room furniture is a little bit old. - Not fantastic choice for breakfast buffet. (delicious fish ball noodles thoough =D)
