“A very comfortable overnight stay”

We only have an overnight stay. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Had an enjoyable swim in a good size swimming pool and the pool staff are polite and frendly. Definitely come back again

“Fantastic stay”

“Hotel is ok but expensive for what it is.”

These guys charged us an extra $10 per hour for a late check-out. Travelled around the world and never heard of anything like it. The bar fridge was empty! For this nightly rate I'd expect at least a diet Coke in there and also a hotel restaurant.

“Well equipped room”

Recently stayed at The Mantra Ettalong for the thitd time and still found it one of the better places to stay at on the Central Coast. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped with cooking facilities, laundry and everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. This time we had a Hinterland view room and found the outlook from the balcony just as pleasing as the sea view rooms. Mountains and trees were the scenery we enjoyed whilst sitting on the spacious balcony and enjoying the peace. Amazingly no noise from the street below.

“Those with young kids -get the poolside rooms”

Poolside rooms are a dream for those with young kids- good size - quiet , nice balcony space There was a wedding in the hotel that was playing doof doof a bit late (1.30am ) but otherwise a lovely resort.

“THINGS REQUIRED TO IMPROVE YOUR STAY”

THE MANTRA HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION OPPOSITE THE BEACH AT ETTALONG WITH LOVELY VIEWS ACROSS THE WATER, IF YOU HAVE A WATERFRONT ROOM. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN MORE RELAXING IF THE BALCONY FURNITURE WAS MORE COMFORTABLE AND INVITING WITH A TINY OUTDOOR TABLE AND TWO CHAIRS WHICH SHOULD BE REPLACED. EXTRA TOWELS, BATH SOAP, TEA/COFFEE AND WASHING DETERGENT SUPPLIES WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED INSTEAD OF BEING OFFERED AT AN ADDITIONAL COST. WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY SIMILAR STYLES OF ACCOMMODATION IN AUSTRALIA AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SUBJECT TO EXTRA CHARGES IF EXTRA SUPPLIES ARE REQUIRED, ESPECIALLY WHEN STAYING FOR A FEW NIGHTS. THESE SIMPLE THINGS MAKE A STAY MORE ENJOYABLE RATHER THAN HAVING TO VENTURE TO A SUPERMARKET FOR EXTRAS. THE LAST THING ONE NEEDS TO DO ON A HOLIDAY. DEFINITELY EXTRA BALCONY FURNITURE WOULD BE A GREAT ASSET AS WELL.

“View from the Room”

I paid the extra $50 for the room with a view of the ocean - we were on the 1st floor and could only see the water if I stood leaning over the balcony on my toes - probably the only disappointing thing about the stay.Had a great view of the mountains though which I could have got for $50 less.

“Great Room - Bond problems”

Great experience. Great room - enjoyed the spa. Only problem is that I'm waiting for my $100 bond to be released and it's now 3 days since I left. This is a bit frustrating.

“Not impressed”

I'm not impressed with staff at all very rude. I'm only saying this because my family have been to so many hotels around Sydney and NSW and this experience was not good at all. But thank you Expedia you are the best.
