Recreation
Love Rock, a six-meter-high (20-foot) promontory and popular wedding site, divides the Cancun resort's beach frontage into a 100-meter (109-yard) segment and a 69-meter (75-yard) segment. Although all Cancún beaches are open to the public, Love Rock at one end and a bluff at the other make it difficult for outsiders to access the shorter stretch, effectively creating a tranquil "private" beach furnished with thatched-roof palapas, sun loungers, and beach towels for resort guests.
A fieldstone sunning terrace furnished with padded lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas features a 46-meter (150-foot) freeform pool and a 12-person spa tub. An onsite sauna and steam room are also available to guests.
An independent operator, AquaWorld, rents boogie boards and snorkeling gear at the resort. Other independent operators offer personal watercraft and parasailing on the beach or nearby beaches. AquaWorld's main center is a marina 5.5 km (3.5 mi) away on Nichupté Lagoon, where many watersports are available, including parasailing, kayaking, personal watercraft, sailing, and windsurfing. AquaWorld also books fishing trips and scuba diving and snorkeling excursions.
The 18-hole Pok-Ta-Pok Golf Club is 3.5 km (2.25 mi) from the resort, and the 18-hole Hilton golf course is 6.5 km (4 mi).
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the resort; fees may apply.

“"What a great resort to stay"”
This is such a fun and relaxing resort! The beach front room was perfect and I would definitely recommend. Maria, on the entertainment staff made us feel so comfortable and showed us where to have a good time! Congo Bongo is the place to go! I also recommend going to the Italian Restaurant. It is delicious with incredible service. Ask for Guillermo!
“Can't wait to go back!”
Very nice hotel. I just loved It! The only thing was that they close the pool at 9pm and the pool bar at 7pm thats the only thingoh and check the out side food policies they are a little extrict about that. but i loved it it way super and everyone is so nice i can't wait to go back!
“Going Back Again...”
The resort was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and no overcrowding on the resort or beach. The Resort was on the beach, so getting to the beach was less that 100 yards and the area was very safe. We only left the resort once to walk to Margaritaville. My only complaint would be the resort was too "American-ized" No authentic Mexican restaurant on site, and you have to have reservations to eat at the Chinese or Italian Restaurant. Other than that, you have the buffett to eat. I would highly recommend eating at least one night at the italian restaurant. The food was excellent and is white glove service. Beware though-there is a dress code. (Which also didn't make me too happy but the quality of the restaurant made up for it)
“A wonderful and relaxing place to be.”
Its a great place to really relax and enjoy. You will be served to your last dream and just dont have to think or do anything. The hotel is a very clean and perfectly looked after place. Be it the inside or outside.
“Best Vacation Ever”
The Cancun Caribe was a perfect Hotel for our first adventure to the Caribbean side of Mexico. The Hotel was very clean, staff attentive to your needs, the room was awesome with a great Oceon View. The Bus stopped at your doorstep, cheap transportation to anywhere we wanted to go. Would recomment the Caribe to Friends and Family.
“Can't wait to go back!”
We chose to stay in thr Royal Tower and have the continental breakfast buffet every morning. The view from our room was outstanding!! Everything was very, very cleab. The staff was always smiling and very helpful. The infinity pool was fantastic! The beach was gorgeous. Really looking forward to going back sometime.
“Very nice Cancun hotel”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand. This was a Hyatt hotel until just a few months ago. It's a smaller hotel with less than 200 rooms and that gives it a more intimate and personal feel. The architecture is cool and all the rooms have ocean views. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the bed was a little too firm for our taste. The beach is fantastic and the pools are beautiful (the jets in the hot tub didn't seem to be working while we were there). The restaurants and gift shop were very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the service excellent. Overall we had a good experience at the Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand and would recommend it.
“Great experience!”
Me and my fiance went in March. The hotel was amazing, we stayed in the Premier Suite with an ocean balcony and view. The pools are great, the swim up bar fantastic. Tons of chairs to relax by the beach! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The restaurants were good, loved the one by the pool for lunch, its a must! All in all a great experience and great all inclusive...will definitely be back.
“A very pleasant experience - best hotel we have visited.”
Our Cancun was a very pleasant experience and Cancun Caribe made it possible. Although they are an all inclusive hotel, they offer meals a la carte. One of their restaurants impressed us so much by their glamour and service that we kind of felt guilty we didn't have to pay. We did however, gave them a very good tip. The trip to chichen itza was magnificent, the guide was super, super good. He spoke Spanish and English sumultaneously and the bus was just comfy and nice. The best was the sailboat to Islas Mujeres. These guys gave me the happiest moment of my life - we laugh, drank, dance, joked, snorkled and had a blast. We can not wait to go back.
“Best vacations ever!”
This was our first vacation and our honeymoon/12th anniversary trip. We picked a great hotle for this experience! The hotel was very clean and the people we so nice! We loved the pool staff, Diego, Maria, Aurturo and Carlos were so much fun!
