“Fabulous”

after 3 weeks of flying up the east coast of Australia this hotel was a great way to end a great holiday. We had a spa bath room and it was clean and comfortable. I couldn't recommend this hotel more

Staff were great, the massage was fab and palm cove is perfect. Fab place for a honeymoon!

“A tropical oasis”

One of our most enjoyable stays anywhere any time. We felt relaxed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Setting is gorgeous. Food was exceptional. Accommodation was sublime. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly but -- and this is the ONLY quibble -- not as knowledgeable about tours and such as tour specialists in town. My wife loved the spa (her first experience) and almost convinced me to try it out, but we ran out of time with so many things to do in North Queensland.

Excellent from the first moment - Pick-up at Cairns airport - friendly assistance on arrival at Sebel Reef - great room with verandah overlooking pool. Very friendly and efficient staff - excellent meal in the dining room. Wonderful surf sounds. Altogether A1!

“Really excellent hotel”

I have absolutely not complaints or issues associated with this hotel. Service was excellent, room was spacious and clean and food was great(huge breakfast buffet included!). Location is directly across from a protected area of beach (stinger net). Several nice restaurants (in addition to the excellent hotel restaurant) within easy strolling distance as well as a deli and a small grocery store. Palm Cove is about 25 minutes from the Cairns airport so nicely tucked away from the rampant tourism of that city. For departures to the Barrier Reef, you can depart from Cairns or our preference was to complete a slightly longer, more scenic drive to Port Douglas. Daintree, the Skyway and Atherton tablelands are all within easy driving distance. If you prefer, the hotel is happy to arrange for various tours with pick up occuring directly from the hotel. As a side note, there is a lot of history associated with this hotel. Check out the old guest registries which cover many decades. In continuation of that tradition, they also have an honor bar and free spiked punch every evening which we enjoyed! The spa is lovely and the pools are to die for...there is a very relaxing, pleasant poolside cafe where you can spend quiet a bit of time without any effort at all. I would highly recommend the Sebel Reef House Palm Cove to anyone without any hesitation.

“A true gem”

The Sebel Reef House was sensational all the way. Staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and exceptionally courteous. The restaurant served top class food and our room was clean, expansive and had everything you could want including a relaxing spa on the balcony. We will be coming back and will cetainly recommend this destination for anyone who wants a relaxing, memorable holiday.

It was a beautiful hotel and the location can't be beat. It's right across from the beach and next to other nice restaurants and hotels.

we were really happy with the level of service given, my only criticism would be in regards to room service menu, which didn't really cater to a light meal, but that is personal taste, so others might find it fine. the rooms were clean and the area is a lovely one to stay in, staff were helpful with tourist activites, ie going to the reef etc.

“Silver anniversary visit to Palm Cove”

My wife and I have waited 25 years to visit Australia and we planned to stay at this hotel for about four or five nights. We stayed eleven nights and loved every minute we spent there. The first impression is fantastic, the recption from the staff genuine and friendly and the experience never goes down hill. We would recommend this hotel for location, comfort, quality, superb restaurant, spa facilities and to enable total relaxation. Mostly though, the staff were just so willing to make everything perfect for every visitor without being in your face to achieve it. "Perfect" sums it up.
