“Totally relaxing location”

From the minute we arrived we found everyone very hospitable & helpful. We found the location excellent, very quiet,& comfortable. Although the bathroom is small, the living area & balcony is very spacious with a lovely view from all rooms. The property sits high above the foreshore with good access via many steps.Maybe not suitable for children or guests with mobility problems. Mostly studio apts but some could accommodate a family with 2 rooms Bus to Cairns close by & virtually walk to all services Well maintained property that I can recommend for a great holiday at a very reasonable price for the location. What a find! Excellent value ! we'll be back.

“Would stay here again.”

The facility and staff were wonderful. The condition and utility of the room was very enjoyable. And what a view of the Coral Sea! Dinner on the balcony was a delightful experience. My wife used the pool area on several occasions. We took several walks on the beach. The flowering trees and plants near the hotel were also very beautiful and inviting.

“Didn't Want to Leave”

Not knowing what to expect we found Trinity Beach a lovely place to stay, not big and busy like the usual tourist places, everything within walking distance, somewhere to relax and enjoy the sun. I will definitely be going back. Amaroo Trinity was very nicely set out and decorated and we loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the water while having a drink or dinner, I wouldn't even bother looking at other accommodation, it was beyond my expectations and more.

“Awesome Place”

A Great place to stay. I will go back in a heartbeat. Only downfall is the Hotel is up on a hill. It could be hard to climb for older ones. Great view facing the sea. Good size and nice balcony.

“Great location”

Trinity Beach was a great location - away from the hustle and bustle. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were large and comfortable. No daily maid service and front desk open only 9-6pm.

“I'll be back”

My stay at Amaroo was lovely. I was made very welcome on arrival and check in was no-fuss. My room was very clean and I had a lovely view of Trinity Beach from my balcony. This was perfect for my three day stay-very close to the great restaurants and beach. The grounds are very well kept and the pool and BBQ area are extremely well maintained. I enjoyed the Spa and had a couple of early morning swims. The beach access was also a plus. I will be staying again in a few weeks as my house is being renovated and this is the next best thing, Thank you. Chrissy

“Nice getaway”

The Amaroo is a lovely place to stay. My husband and I traveled to Trinity Beach on holiday, and stayed for 8 days. If you are looking for simple accommodation that provides a clean place to put your head at night, and a few extra amenities, this is the place. The owners were kind and attentive. The location was good as well, and surrounding area is quiet with low traffic. The town is quaint with some great restaurants, all varying in price. There is also a market (IGA) a short walk, and even shorter drive, away from the hotel. The store offers a "free" shuttle service back to the hotel, but appreciates whatever spare coin you can give. My husband and I enjoyed getting use out of the in-unit kitchen, and outdoor barbecuing facilities. There is a steep hill at the entrance to the resort, and a long staircase to get down to the beach, so keep that in mind if you have trouble walking. Also, if you are staying on the first floor in the single room units, there is only a small fence between you and a public walkway down to the beach. If you enjoy your privacy and don't like having people walking in front of your veranda all the time, like we do, request a room on the 2nd floor or higher. This provides a better beach view too. Also, if you plan to do any serious cooking, bring your own cookware as the kitchen is limited. Overall, the Amaroo was a great value, and a nice place to call home for our holiday. I would recommend it to anyone, and would stay there again.

“Newly Renovated”

We were impressed with the hotel. Our room had been freshly painted before our stay, as we could still smell the paint. That would be the only downside. The room was spacious, clean, tidy. The balcony was huge, and faced the ocean! With the balcony doors open, we could hear the ocean - so relaxing! The room had a kitchenette which was perfect for us. The hotel had a clean and tidy BBQ area next to the pool, which we used. The pool area was beautifully lit at night with blue lights in the pool. The hotel management were extremely helpful and lovely. Each day we saw them they would ask how our day was and what we got up to. We felt like we were their only guests, as they cared about how we were enjoying our stay. The location at Trinity Beach was very quiet and peaceful. There's also a stinger net at the beach so it's safe to swim during the stinger months. It was about a 15 minute drive to Cairns which wasn't too bad, as we had hired a car.

“Great spot”

A well appointed sturio apartment with ocean/beach views and the the sound of the waves at night. As a late booking also very good value and within an easy walk of cafes etc. Would certainly stay again when in Cairns area as an alternative to the city.
