Zephyr On The Charles - Views of the Charles River are lovely all day from the large windows of the Zephyr, and even more so in the evenings when the Boston skyline sparkles with light. A variety of all-natural New England regional cuisines are served. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Friday night New England Seafood Market with live entertainment. Friday evenings from 6 PM - 9:30 PM enjoy live contemporary modern jazz favorites by Aaron Gottlieb's Trio.

The hotel's 75-foot swimming pool is set in a glass-walled building. It features racing lanes and a retractable glass roof as well as a sundeck overlooking the Boston skyline and Charles River. An adjacent exercise room offers more than a dozen cardio and strength-training machines with satellite TV. A Nordic spruce sauna and eucalyptus steam room is located in each locker room. The hotel also offers seasonal bike rentals, and massage services.

“very nice hotel”
Stayed one night, was after 10pm when I finally checked in. Hotel staff were very freindly & helpful. Room nice-great pillows-and was quiet for a Saturday. I did think it was a little cheap of the hotel to charge $35 for parking-where else are you going to park if you stay there, on the street a block away?
“River View”
The Boston Hyatt Regency was very clean and modern with a great river view from some room and the restaurant. The room service was good but I would have liked a coffee maker, small refrigerator and a bottle of complimentary water in the room. I would also have preferred FREE wireless. The concierge did take it off the bill though at check out. I would have preferred more information as to where the gym and pool were in the building. The setting was beautiful and I had wished the weather was better to take a stroll by the river front. The food was good, the king bed was very comfy and the shower products top notch. I would recommend a stay here.

Good restaurant. convenient to business by taxi to cambridge. beautiful hotel, right along the Charles River. Crew teams practicing early morning, beautiful scene.
“The staff is exceptional.”
It is the friendly, fabulous staff that make a stay here truly wonderful! ALL service people from the doorman to the checkin staff to the waiters to the maids are unusually gracious. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Boston/Cambridge. The rooms are most comfortable, spacious and the location is fantastic (quiet and accessible) and there's a Very, very yummy breakfast buffet, too!

Check in was very pleasant and I got an upgrade as a hyatt cardholder! Fabulous room overlooking the Charles river!
“Best hotel stay by far.”
From the time we arrived the hotel staff members were very attentive and accommodating. The room and bath areas were very clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. I really appreciated the shuttle service to the areas I needed to visit and all of the drivers were so nice and helpful. I will be returning to Cambridge/Boston, and this is definitely where I will stay!

“Fantastic service, beautiful hotel!”
I was a little nervous committing to the "blind" deal, but I do not regret it. The hotel and staff were amazing! Devon at the front desk and the courtesy driver all went the extra mile (no pun intended) to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We got an upgraded room with a balony and view of the James River, as well as discount parking. When we were lost near Kendall Square, the driver came and rescued us - even though it was close to quitting time and out of his way.

Delightful stay - nice hotel, convenient location for both MIT and the city centre, friendly staff, good food, excellent gym.
“Great Stay”
The staff is friendly, nothing unusual. The hotel building has a unique architecture, with one side facing the river and downtown Boston. You can sit on a large balcony outside the bar (esp. in summer) facing the river, the lights in the night is beautiful. The only problem is expensive valet parking, however, there are two dozen or so free street parking behind hotel parking structure. I have no problem to find a spot there every day during the week-long stay there. It's very safe env, MIT police station is 5-min away from hotel ;-). There are plenty tasty local restaurants nearby in Harvard/MIT area, one of our favorite is Basta Pasta. Check yelp.com for that. Sauna/pool is great too, kids love the huge pool.
