“second visit not disappointing”

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. It was what we remembered and enjoyed the first time. All staff, regardless of their job, were friendly and helpful. Our room was upstairs on the road side and we loved the quiet of the Nirwana pool. The Penida pool is where the "action" is including aqua aerobics which is great fun. The friendly security man that safely sees you across the road said on our last night"see you next year!" and maybe he will.

“Wont be going back”

The staff are what makes this hotel what it is the kids club is good and very friendly. The rooms are bland and not as described by expedia the food was expensive and not of a high standard. Wont be going back

“Fantastic Time”

We organised a wedding in Bali and recommended all our guests to stay there. Overall, both our guest and our experience with the Novotel was fantastic!!! We didn't have one compliant from our guests who all thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We chose the Novotel because it caters for everyone including children, the elderly, teenagers and Gen Y and Gen X. It was close to great surfing spots like Uluwatu and just close enough to busy Kuta. Most of guest took taxi's into Kuta, some felt it was a little far away but others felt it was far enough away. It depended on the person. The boys scootered to beautiful Uluwatu beach which was approximately 20 - 30 minutes from the hotel. Others didn't leave the hotel they loveed it that much!!!

“Pictures and location description a bit deceptive”

Overall the hotel was just okay. There are several things that go unmentioned such as: - the fact that all the deluxe rooms are on the opposite side of the road from the beach, so guests must cross the street to get to the main hotel. - the hotel does not have any complementary water sports - the beach isn't anything special and actually not very conducive to swiming / snorkelling etc. - the staff at the bar on the beach had to be sought after to place orders while lounging at the pool. Overall okay value for money. I would consider another option if I return to Bali.

“Second visit and very happy”

We just came back on the 15th of may from a 10 night stay and very happy with the hotel and staff. Things we love about the hotel The choice of 3 pools is good and the gardens and beach are great. The extra activities and night time entertainment are a good bonus. The buffet breakfast is great. The room is good and cleaned each day. We find the staff to be friendly and helpful. There is now free wifi in the lobby.
