“Lovely break”
We loved our short break at the Melia. The location was perfect for us, the beach setting is beautiful no beach sellers. Shopping was only a short walk away. The staff were very friendly, the food great and the beach activities they arranged every day were fun.
“Good stay, relax and enjoy”
It is a good place to stay. We had a lagoon room with access to pool, that was great. Breakfast was good, good choice. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel provided a good entertaning program every night. There is also a big Mall with restaurants and shops in a few minutes walk. The hotel is located at the beach site. The beach is clean. We enjoyed our dinner at the sunset. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.
“Really enjoyed our stay, so relaxing and everything we needed was in the hotel.”
Everything was catered for, even halloween, really enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was so comfortable and our major reason for our holiday was a rest and we did rest. The restaurants were all lovely, day spa was amazing and the pools catered for all. Highly recommend for anyone travelling.
“Great Family Hotel”
Great hotel in a lovely location - highly recommended with kids. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever seen. Only downside is the cab charges from the hotel but easy enough to walk out the gate and get a cab out the front for half the price. Fantastic holiday.
“Friendly and Comfortable”
This was our third visit to Bali, having stayed at an hotel in Sanur on the last two occasions. The hotel was exceptionally friendly, clean and well organised with extremely good food in all of the restaurants and bars, with prices that were fair. We were made to feel at home and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A couple staying at the vastly more expensive hotel next door spent their evenings at the Melia with us because it was so much more friendly. Am going back as soon as time will allow.
“so good to bee true”
It was really one of the best hotels i have ever been. You feel like a king from the hospitality and the filoxenia for those who know this word. The only issue i have is that we were there on 12 of August and every day the ocean moved 3 km far inside from 16:00 until the next morning. And when you had the water in front of you you couldnt swim very well due to the depth. I am wondering that this is a good chance for those who have small children to learn them swim.
“Would be one of the best in Nusa Dua.”
Staff and service ten out of ten. Meals great. Beach and pool areas well mantained. Rooms modern and very clean. Management constantly seeking feedback to see if everything okay. Could not fault this well run complex.
“A solid 4 star hotel”
Went there for 5 nights on a honeymoon. The hotel grounds are nice (not spectacular) to walk around with lush vegetation, ponds, etc. Stayed in the "superior room" which is accurately depicted in the Expedia pics. Quite clean, bed comfort OK, air-conditioner worked fine for us -- room was not damp. 1st floor terrace big enough for 2 people to sit outside and read/eat. Bathroom reasonably sized, good water pressure, plenty of hot water. No clocks in the room. Breakfast had a large selection of good tasting pan-Asian foods as well as fruits, omelets cooked to order, desserts. Service very friendly across the board; needed a new hair dryer & it was delivered in less than 5 minutes. Currency exchange at the hotel was at comparable rates as in-town exchangers. Internet is ridiculously expensive: $6/hr or $20/day. Walked to town and used hi-speed internet for 50 cents/hr. Didn't use the spa, which was about 4 times the price of in-town massages. Pool was OK; no view of anything from the poolside chairs. Beach is almost non-existent (i.e. less than 5 feet of beach) when the tide is in; when the tide is out there remains about 200 feet of tidepool-filled beach not conducive to laying out on.
“Will go back soon”
Just got back from staying at melia Bali. The hotel is wonderfull, the gardens are beautiful. We stayed in the level Duplex but had to move due to a broken foot that happened before our holiday and we could not get up the stairs. The hotel put us in a Deluxe garden room which was very comfy indeed. The private pool and beach are lovely and no kids under 16 are allowed in the private pool which made our stay very relaxing. Breakfast in the Sorrento was lovely. When we was there the hotel is building new rooms, we was never disturbed by any building work at all. Afternoon tea was always lovely. For dinner walk the 10min walk to the Bali Collection, lots of shopping and many places to eat. Staff always make the hotel and the staff here can never do enough for you. Spoil yourself, stay at the Melia Bali
“Melia Bali Perfection”
I cannot recommend Melia Bali highly enough! We initially stayed in a Duplex Level suite and later upgraded to a Villa towards the end of our stay. Both were of an A1 standard. The private pool was so relaxing and very quiet with no kids around. The private beach and day beds was divine. The complimentary afternoon tea was so lovely and the best thing was the breakfast each morning in Sorrento restuarant, both the food and staff were delightful. The location Nusa Dua was perfect, away from the crowds and noise at Kuta. We will return to Melia Bali as soon as we can, we just loved it! Do yourself a favour and stay here, and if you can afford a few nights in the Villa do it, you wont regret it, it is amazing!
