“Beautiful location”
Hotel is located at the end of the Seminyak area, beginning of Kerobokan. Shuttle service to the busy areas if you wish to go there. The layout of the hotel is beautiful, you feel like you're walking through paradise. Small, but that's part it's charm. Perfect location to stay a few days, hospitality and personal attention are commendable. I would choose this hotel again, we stayed 2 days before traveling on.
“Great Staff”
The staff were great, The breakie was not as good as other hotels for the same price, they don't have digital Tv's in the room we stayed in. The cocktails where a rip off.
“Grand Balisani Suites - nothing Grand about it”
This hotel is literally miles from anything worth seeing or doing. You have to cab back and forth to Kuta - and although the cabs are very cheap - literally $7AUD for a 20 minute trip - sometimes due to traffic, this took almost an hour. Old hotel in desperate need of renovation. Front desk staff couldnt be bothered and were bordering on rude - very unusual for the Balinese people. My 6th trip to Bali and the worst place I have stayed.
“Worst hotel ever”
Room was not clean - called housekeeping and they swept up enough dirt, dust, litter (including a sock) to fill a small pudding basin. Then they mopped -with a dirty mop and dirty water - so floors were still filthy. Took 3 days and constant complaints to get room reasonably clean (they even removed some, but not all of the mould on the hairdryer). Had 3 days of clean room, then day before we left not cleaned properly again. Had a flying insect infestation (hundreds of them all over the room) - they sprayed the room while we were out for a day but insects back again a couple of days later. Room always had a nasty smell about it (dirty, fusty). Dirty linen was left around in corridors, and on a couple of mornings saw clean linen placed on dirty floor in corridor outside rooms prior to rooms being made up. Breakfast wasn't the best either, coffee was always luke warm, hot food was not kept hot, so also usually cold, pastries not fresh, and toaster didn't toast. Wi-Fi expensive - given incorrect instructions by receptionist so took over an hour to sort out, then timed out before I had used my credit (apparently was supposed to read the tiny print on back of card which said credit expired after 5 days). Beach in front of hotel is littered with rubbish. The rooms in this hotel are a good size and have obviously been renovated and fitted out to a good standard, but are rapidly deteriorating due to gross negligence by management and poorly or untrained staff.
