The hotel’s rectangular main pool faces the lobby and is 33 meters long. Together with a lagoon pool, which winds in front of some guestrooms, there is a total of 4,886 square meters (52,600 square feet) of swimming pool area.

Its 24-hour fitness center on the first floor of the north wing has four treadmills, two exercise bikes, two recumbent bikes, two cross trainers, one stair climber, one rowing machine, and a set of free weights. Personal trainers and specialized coaches for yoga and aerobics can be requested (surcharge). Another smaller fitness center with one treadmill and one bicycle is located in front of the tennis courts.

The 439-square-meter (4,725-square-foot) Jiwa Spa, located in the secluded north wing of the hotel, has 12 treatment, 2 spa pool pavillions, and 5 spa garden pavillions. The spa also contains a reflexology lounge, beauty salon, separate male and female steam and Jacuzzi, and a 25-metre spa pool. A Wellness Centre offers yoga, meditation, and stretching classes. Jiwa Spa offers signature natural body treatment products and aromatherapy oils, all of which are available to purchase at the Spa. “Too many fly's and mozzies”

Conrad Bali is a beautiful hotel with all facilities that you would need to enjoy a relaxing holiday with the only downfall being at breakfast the whole food distribution area and eating area are plagued with common house fly's. In the evening we attended a beautiful wedding ceremony in wonderful surroundings only to be part of the feast due to mozzies an event we also experienced in the outdoor restaurant later in week.

“great hotel”

The Conrad has exceeded our expectations in terms of confort cleanliness and friendly welcome . The only problems are that it is located on a very busy and dangerous road, and there is very few affordable restaurants around. The food around the hotel is more expensive than in Singapore!!! Nonetheless all in all we had a great time at the hotel.

“Best Hotel Ever!”

This resort hotel was fantastic! The grounds are beautiful and everything was 5 star. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. The room had a walk-in closet, beach bag, slippers and batik robes, umbrellas, and pretty much everything you would ever need. Beds were very comfortable too. The view from our balcony was amazing! Cannot believe the price we paid for what we got. Very family-friendly hotel...a lot of families with small children. Hotel service was oustanding. Our concierge went above and beyond and arranged for many tours, spa visit, etc for great prices. Best concierge service I've ever experienced at any hotel! I want to come back to visit here! The pool went all the way around the hotel. There were traditional dances at night, romantic candlelight, private beach cabanas....I could go on and on. This was hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, or to recommend to friends. Bali is a beautiful place to visit!

“Great hotel.......”

Conrad Bali was fabulous! The only down side being its location which meant you were stuck at the hotel for breakfast/lunch as a taxi to Seminyak, although cheap, took over an hour due to traffic. That said, if you want a break in a hotel that caters for everything with the upmost level of service, cleanliness and comfort, this is perfect!

“Comfortable stay in Conrad”

We just come back from our 5 days trip to Bali with family. Flying from Perth Australia to join family holiday and three families stay at the same accommodation. We use five hotel rooms next to each other. Ours is kingsize bedroom and the hotel give us extra bed at no charge for our 5 yo daughter. Staff are all friendly and trying to look after you, from the time we arrive, staying there and when we're leaving. Pool is great, also beach just behind the pool. Love the Bale overlooking the ocean, quiet and breezy. Breakfast is great, nice food, nice seating layout next to the pond. Appreciate the staff prompt response when you're asking for anything. Jiwa Spa is outstanding.. Profesional therapist with average 7years experience at the same hotel. Will definitely come back when we visit Bali!! If you have kids I will recommend this than Ayana. But if you're couple, then Ayana offer more privacy but service at Conrad is better! Well done Conrad!!

Bebek Tepi Sawah, Ubud Babi Guling Ibu Oka, Ubud Menega Cafe Jimbaran (the best) Gurita Seafood *I use my VISA card for transaction. Exchange rate is better than money changer. Bring small amount of rupiah such as Rp. 2.000.000 to go to tourist attraction (Uluwatu, GWK,etc) as most of eating places and shop are accept credit card. For comparison my visa is Rp 8.863 vs Rp. 8.600 for AUD $1

“Thank you Conrad!”

Before arriving to Bali, I contacted the hotel via email to set up a car pick from the airport. Everything went according to plan and the Conrad Bali was exquisite with beautiful scenary and a courteous staff. Every staff member from Front Desk to Landscaper made eye contact and greeted me with a warm greeting. The Front desk checked me in, helped me exchange currency, and answer any questions. Concierge gave me inside tips for the best excursions, day tours, and of course the spas. The breakfast experience was superb because of excellent food options, great service and bonus views of the pool and ocean. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help me enjoy my stay in a foreign country. Thank you Conrad Bali for everything. My only concern was I felt outside the hotel was not pedestrian friendly. With narrow sidewalks or at most times no sidewalk at all one could get hit with a motor bike if not careful.

Getting around

Saw several tourists in fender benders with locals on the road. Most locals ride their motor bikes aggressively with no respect for changing lanes or keeping a comfortable distance. Be careful, if you decide to rent a car or motor bike. Umm better yet, stay off the road and take a taxi. Why risk your life in foreign country Note: "BlueBird" Taksi was my best friend. Decent prices or meter rates will apply.

What to pack

At times you can cut the humidity with a knife. Don't forget your canteen to stay hydrated. And bring snacks for those tours that don't feed, but keep you out all day long.

Dining

Restaurant "Ku de ta" Excellent ambience, but the food was less than medicore. P.S. They will definitely try to hustle you for a tip eventhough gratuity is included on the receipt. Don't knock the hustle, just be prepared to play the game!

Area recommendations

Depends on the traveller. For families or people who do not want to leave the hotel (e.g., stay at the pool) hotels in the Nusa Dua area are okay. For travellers interested in going out to great bars and the latest restaurants, I would recommend the Seminyak or Jimbaran area. These areas also appeared to have better shopping. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my stunning hotel, I was constantly in taxis going back and forth to Seminyak to watch the sunset or for dinner. Also, as a solo traveller, it was difficult for me to get a tour. (Nothing to do with location: I was also difficult getting a tour. The tour companies kept cancelling on me since they wanted a minimum of two people. I didnt want to always hire a car and have to figure out where to go.) Still enjoyed my vacation.

“Beautiful hotel”

Beautiful hotel grounds, and there was even some small shops and restaurants on the street outside the hotel. The room was very nice and the grounds were quiet and peaceful. It's a great place to relax for a few days, and if I was staying longer it looked like a great jumping-off point for tours and such. I would definitely stay here again.
