"I loved the old fashioned antiques. I loved the fireplace! It was an old property but I liked how they made it so cozy & warm. We were very comfy but the bed was super old & my back ached. Decorations & quiet & nice location made up for it! I’d stay here again but there was no breakfast & it’s more expensive than usual motels."

"As other travelers have noted, this is a great overnighter place to stay. Humble, spotless, quiet, safe (solo female traveler). It's a lake view, from across Hwy 178, so don't expect you are walking distance to the lake, or anything really. Grateful these kinds of places still exist. "The price was good, the room was clean and they had a nice breakfast offered, but we slept in too long and missed it. Dennys was right next door so we didn’t starve. The bed spread was cute.
