Good experience with the exception of poor elevator service. Not sure if staff was using elevators Sunday morning, but I waited 8 minutes for an elevator @ 11:15 am. Finally arrived but filled. I waited another 5 minutes for the same elevator which was also filled. Then waited 6 more minutes to get a different elevator. With 3 elevators I should never have had to wait that long. Had I not been checking out with luggage I would have taken the stairs.

"Excellent location. Rooms are too small. "
Excellent location for theater. The lobby offers a relaxing place for retreat. Bed is comfortable. Room is extremely small for that reason I would struggle recommending.

"It was a nice hotel, good location for walking. "
Experience went well until I left and made a right hand turn off of 45th street and received a ticket because apparently you can not turn right on that corner but because there were so many cars being valet parked that I could not see signs. I think there should be a better process for the cars being parked as there was a lot of commotion on that corner. The hotel was located very conveniently and I had a great trip overall.

"Small but great"
So the room was pretty small but just for myself, the single room was perfect. I thought the shared bathroom would be weird but it actually wasn't. The occupancy indicators above the door are a great help and the bathrooms are very clean. However if that's weird for you, you could always pay a little more and get a room with a bathroom. The in room sink takes care of most of your needs. The rooftop deck was a selling point for me. The view is amazing. I ate dinner and breakfast out there just enjoying the view. It's very close to a lot of sights to see as well. I'd recommend this hotel and plan on staying here again if I'm ever back in New York.

"Fun place to stay"
Colourful lobby, friendly, helpful staff and great location. Enjoyed our stay there. The room was small but that was expected from description. I would stay there again but only with someone I know very well. Bit too cosy otherwise. The ladder to the bunk bed was a bit narrow for my liking.

"Perfect location--nice hotel"
I just needed a bed for one night. Nothing fancy--no suites, gyms, or hotel pools. This was in a good location for me (I had business in midtown), and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was not large, but the bed was very comfortable and the amenities (bathroom, ironing board, etc.) perfectly satisfactory. Hotel staff were delightful and helpful. Just as I left the room to check out, the housekeeping lady chased me down the hallway to let me know I'd left my iPhone charger plugged in at the desk. She was a lifesaver! I still baulk at paying extra for internet access at places like this, but it was a small nuisance in an otherwise lovely experience.

"Clean, nice and practical hotel room "
Room was clean, small and practical. Enough for a small family. In New York rooms we have stayed always have been small. Very good but small. So this was no exception. But the rooms are new and very clean. Some of the furniture was designed for a business traveler in mind.
