“I'll be going back!”

First off, it's all very basic but that's what I expected. Easy to get to from central, just jump on a number 5 tram and you'll end up at the World Trade Center. The hotel itself was probably madder than I expected it to be, so unless you have a strong stomach, (and mind) I'd be wary of the state you are in when first entering. But we loved it!! The staff were lovely, (even at 5 in the morning when we would inevitably roll in) and more than happy to have a chat and sort us out with anything we wanted. If you're after a relatively cheap place to stay and fancy something a bit different, then I would highly recommend it. A couple of things weren't working properly, but where normally it might have been a nuisance, we really weren't fussed. There is no door to the bathroom either, so I wouldn't advise it if you're a rather private person. Great fun, good people and overall very happy times. We will be back!

“Comfortable and excellent value”

Qbic is a simple, clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel. Located in the World Trade Center just steps away from Amsterdam Zuid, it 's a short pleasant walk through a park to the RAO Conference Center. Ten minutes and 3 Euro by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (prices in September 2011). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room are simple but comfortable and functional. Think trendy on a budget. Free WiFi is a bonus.

“Fab Amsterdam!”

Hotel is easy to find from Zuid metro station nd is a few minutes walk from train, tram and metro station with diret links to airport and Amsterdam central (aboit 10mins each way on train/metro). Hotel staff fantastic, customer service is excellent. Hotel room was very good but only one small criticism it could do with better lighting! apart from that I would recommend this hotel to others and am going to use it again when we return to Amsterdam. Public transport is excellent with a 24hr travel pass excellent value. I would recommend using the trams to get around the city, they are frequent and stop at all visitor attraxtions. A canal boat trip is also a must. An exceelnt resturant in Nieumarket is the Weigh House in the centre of the square.

“Nice room, great price”

Only a 5 min train ride from the AMS airport, the Qbic Hotel might seem a bit far from the main Amsterdam attractions. But the rooms are very stylist and being close to main bus and train lines, you can get to where you want to go in no time. The free wifi in all rooms is a great bonus!

“I have great things to say about the QBic Hotel”

My wife and I stayed at the QBic for a weekend vacation. Its location, although not in city centre, is very convenient, just a few steps away from the metro station a Zuid. It took 10 minutes travel to Centraal Station. The highlight and attraction of the hotel was the room. You do not feel like you are in a typical hotel, as if you are in a fantasy world or perhaps the hotel room of the future. Other reviewers mentioned the bathroom. As a couple on a romantic weekend, we did not mind the lack of door and had no problems with flooding. The service was outstanding. We arrived expecting to have a machine check us in and were delighted to find a friendly hostess that helped make our trip more enjoyable. She found and ordered great Chinese Food for us; when it arrived, she delivered it to our room complete with dishes and cutlery. It is definitely worth staying here for the unique ambience and affordable prices. It was definitely worth more than they say it is worth. Happy travels!

“A wonderful modern hotel”

The hotel Qbic was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. On first arrival the front door is locked and you must have a room key to enter, which made me feel safe. One of the staff was close by to let me in and get me all checked in. I was in a room on the second floor and since these hotel rooms are in the shape of a cube, my room did not have a window. At first I thought that would bother me especially since it was a little warm in the room. I told the ladies at the front desk and they said that they would lower the thermostat for me. When I came back from a long day of site seeing my room was nice and cool. The bathroom does not have a door, so its not an ideal room if you are traveling with a friend. But I was traveling alone so it was fine for me. The bathroom is a decent size and the shower is huge and has both a overhead spray and a hand held one. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept it! I never wanted to get up in the morning because I was so comfortable. It felt like one of those memory foam mattresses. The people at the front desk were very kind and spoke perfect English. They were very helpful in telling me how to get into town. All in all this hotel was wonderful, if I ever go back to Amsterdam again I will definitely stay here!

The Qbic hotel is very modern and clean. Loved the concept. Just too bad I had no window in my room but overall the staff was great and the room clean and very comfortable!

“Great Funky Hotel!!!”

Its a great hotel, easy to get there as the tram and buses stop right outside the door... if its your first time, its a bit hard to find the hotel... theres no obvious sign of the hotel as it is INSIDE the WTC... apart from that, clean and big rooms, friendly staff, bar/restaurante , Hope to come back again!

“Great Budget Hotel :)”

Booked this hotel at the last minute and was amazed by how cool it was inside! Amazing styling in the lobby and rooms, really hi tech and funky looking but also very comfortable. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Would definately stay there again, and would recommend to others.
