“Best kept secret in Amsterdam”
This is great place to stay. Not a big room, but it has EVERYTHING you need. It is very clean!
“Impressed!”
This hotel is tastefully decorated, clean, and has character. The breakfast bar has great coffee and European style buffet. We were extremely satisfied. Finally, it is in a great location.
“Good place to stay.”
Would certainly return to this hotel, conveniently positioned for station and trams also within easy walking distance of places to see, eating places and bars. Hotel and room were clean, staff helpful and breakfast was excellent.
“Ideal for weekend stay”
Location : 15 minutes walk from the Central Station. We had a room at the back, on the 5th floor. Very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Would definitely go back.
“Highly satisified”
Highly satisified; wonderful hotel with the best location. Staff are extremely friendly & willing to help. Smoking room as well made my stay
“Tiny rooms, great location”
Hotels in Amsterdam are notoriously expensive for what you get! I found that this hotel was a good balance of decent, clean, friendly accommodation in a brilliant location for the price. It's a few minutes walk from the main station (Centraal), and I walked to tourist attractions / areas like Dam Sq, The Grasshopper, the main shopping street, and Anne Frank's house etc. The lobby / breakfast area of the hotel is really nice. Modern, and space to sit down. The breakfast is basic continental, but OK! The rooms are tiny, and I couldn't even open the door of the wardrobe all the way because it hit the bed! But honestly, I spent so little time in the room it wasn't a big deal. The bed and bedding was all comfy. The shower / bathroom was fine. All in all, for the price and location, I can't complain. I'd stay here again if I was in Amsterdam again.
“Some rooms very noisy”
Great location for access to all that Amsterdam offers. Unfortunately the rooms at the front of the hotel overlook a tram interchange which is quite noisy from 06:00 until 01:00. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Otherwise a good value clean and efficient hotel.
“Great location and value”
Overall a good experience. They gave me the room two hours before the check-in time. The room was small (I was alone) and on the street, so a bit noisy for the traffic. Considering the central location, close to the main station, and that the breakfast was included, it was definitely worth the choice.
“Pretty Norrmal, People were very nice though”
The rooms are very small and expensive but that is pretty normal for Europe. Only problem was the inner blanket of my douvet (I removed it because it was hot) was a little dirty. The staff were very helpful and kind.
“Would use it again.”
Bog standard 3 star hotel. Room was a bit small but clean and perfectly adequate. The noise from the trams shouldn't be a problem unless you were brought up in the country. I will use this hotel again.

Dam Square - Central Station, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century). The oldest part of town, Oude Zijde, is famous for its Red Light District, but the University and the docks bring a different kind of colour and buzz to the narrow streets. Don't miss the Oude Kerk, the Amstelkring Museum or the paintings in the Amsterdam Museum.
