"The location is great. The stairs are brutal with a suitcase, but I knew about that going in so I can't knock the place. The views for breakfast were great. Check-in was a mess, the host said someone would meet us at the dock, but no one showed. The host does not belong in customer service. I asked if we could have breakfast at 7 so we could have an early start and she told us we would have to make our own breakfast. She insisted breakfast should be at 8:30. "Lovely hotel and area, plenty to do and see. There are lots of steps at the hotel so maybe not very suitable for people with breathing or movement conditions. If you arrive by car unfortunately there is no parking near the hotel, nearest parking costs €20 per night, this can considerably add to your holiday costs."

Parking is charged at €20 a night for small cars so that's something to take into account however everywhere charges for parking in Amalfi."
