"Beautiful and charming hotel"
Everything with this hotel was fantastic. We had a beautiful room, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful - we were even able to check-in early which was great as we were keen to get showered, cleaned and start exploring. The hotel is really tucked away on a typical quaint Venice street, whilst still being in such a central location - we were minutes from Rialta Bridge and St. Marks Square. The hotel provide an excellent map, which we received about a week before our visit explaining exactly where to find the hotel - which was really helpful! I really can't fault it at all!

"Excellent location for both city and beach"
First visit to Venice, city has all the promises of the romantic city and the Best Western provides the backdrop to enjoy the city only a short boat trip away and the beach a short walk away. Lovely location, great rooms and meals with a friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend it to young and old alike.

"Fit for Royalty"
A hotel staffed by family friendly people who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Nothing was too much; not overpowering or pushy, no sales pitches just solid reliable advice and help. Always on hand to answer questions nothing but praise can be steeped on all staff regardless of position or job. An experience not to be missed.

"Wonderful hotel to stay in and enjoy Venice."
What a great place. I was given an upgrade into a better room overlooking the square which may help. However, the staff were great and very helpful. The bed was wonderful. Not worn out out or too soft. The decoration was immmaculate and the included breakfast buffet was very comprehensive. It is idealy suited to see Venice before the crowds, easy access to the water buses and the heart if venice but still quiet at night. The only thing that would have been good is tea making facilites in the room. But then I am British and we live on tea. If I return to Venice I will plan to use this hotel again. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

"The Perfect Hotel & Stay"
I loved the hotel, staff, my room, everything. My room was just like their pictures. Beautiful. Even a special vanity area outside the bathroom that was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I felt like I was at home. Everyday I asked directions and they gave me perfect maps and instructions. I felt they would do anything to make my stay perfect. They even arranged transportation to my ship for me. (not easy in Venice). The breakfast was so excellent you couldn't believe it. White table cloths, perfect service, large variety. 7 to 10:30am. great hours. Had excellent dinner there too. Small cozy louge area and tiny cozy bar. Smiling faces any time day or night. I'd go back in a second. I loved Venice.

"Great hotel location"
We had a canal view for 4 nights before our cruise. The view and sights and sounds were fabulous to give you the real flavor of Venice. Our room had beautiful furniture and was large on European standards. The hotel is very close to San Marco. Our stay was perfect. Water taxi from airport and another one to crise ship. It was easy. Wish I could repeat it all!

    Where to stay in Venice?

There are few experiences in the world that can beat staying in a great hotel in Venice. There is no other city like it and it guarantees to melt even the coldest of hearts on every visit; the feeling of cruising down the Grand Canal is simply priceless.

    The Floating City

One of the best things about Venice is that it’s the only place in the world where you can literally spend hours wandering around the winding streets, completely lost, without a care in the world! The city is made up of 118 islands linked by canals and bridges, making getting around by boat ideal and for a surprisingly modest fee you can take a vaporetto (waterbus) to anywhere you want to go. But if you’re in a romantic mood, no trip to Venice would be complete without a ride in gondola, with your own personal gondolier at the helm who may even sing a few lines from a Verdi opera, if you’re lucky!

All signs in Venice point to St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), the hub and focal point of the city with its truly remarkable architecture and staggering numbers of pigeons (and tourists). St. Mark’s Basilica and Campanile (belltower) will take your breath away whereas the Doge’s Palace and Museums give you some idea of the wealth the Venetian State in times gone by. Other stops on the tourist trail, and must-sees for any visitor to Venice, are the Rialto Bridge (Ponte di Rialto) with its bustling market, the wonderful Academy Gallery (Galleria dell’Accademia) containing countless masterpieces from the world’s most renowned artists, and the fascinating glass works on the Island of Murano.

Finding a good hotel in Venice can seem daunting considering the huge number of accommodation options and visitors to the city. However, Expedia.com.au offers you peace of mind and does the hard work for you, with its large selection of high-quality and competitively priced hotels, that are fully bookable online, and the website is constantly updated with thousands of honest reviews left by genuine travellers.
