“Great Positano hotel”
Can't say enough about this hotel. Staff is more than willing to help (some have very little English understanding but want to help). Wonderful location not too high & not too low. Clean spacious comfortable & has a beautiful patio with lounges & table with chairs which were perfect for the complementary breakfast. Hope I'm lucky enough to get back there someday.

Hotel was great, room was good,clean,good size,everything worked, position was good, staff were great, very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, I would definately stay there again.
“Super view and location”
Cannot fault the hotel in anyway. Highlight would definitely be the view from the balcony and ideal location.
“Extremely dissappointed”
This reservation problem caused such a waste of our limited precious family holiday time. The hotel staff didn't even have the courtesy to let us know when our room had become available or help us with our luggage. This unfortunately cast a grim shadow over our time spent in this beautiful part of the world. After being told a refund would be given to us for the first night's accommodation the next day, nothing was forthcoming. Each day we were then told they still had to go to the bank to get the money and that it would be done the next day. Eventually, after arguing with the hotel for three days we managed to get a partial refund for the first nights accommodation. The Hotel Royal Prisco blamed Expedia for the problem but couldn't produce any written evidence to support their claim. We are very dissappointed with the hotel and their failure to rectify the issue in the time agreed.
“Wish we could live here!!”
Positano itself is amazing, but Hotel Royal Prisco was definately our favorite hotel of all the ones we frequented during our 3 week honeymoon around Italy. For the price, the service, location, view, and quality can not be beat! This family run place was a perfect location to kick off our honeymoon... The staff makes you feel like family (especially Maria), breakfast was wonderful, and everything is in walking distance from the hotel (which is important in these hilly towns). Make sure you enjoy a "coffee cream" on your balcony every day if you stay here! They make it the best - heavenly :)
“Wonderful view - wonderful breakfast - wonderful hosts”
Stayed at the Hotel Prisco in July, the hotel is very well located just near the center of Positano. We also had a nice terrace/ balcony with wonderful view of the town, cathedral and the sea. The hosts are warm, welcoming and speaks good English. The breakfast is wonderful. Can't think of anything negative about the place.
“hotel magnifico”
hotel prisco was delightful. we had a front room suite with a beautiful view of the town and sea. the breakfast was wonderful. location was great- high enough for a great vista and close enough for the shopping and restaurants. the staff was super-helpful with any need or question we had. would go back there in a minute!
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel was awsome. The people were so friendly. We had a beutiful apt. with two bedrooms and a beautiful balcony with a table and chairs that overlooked the ocean. The rooms were simple but clean. It was perfect within walking distance of the beach and attractions. The whole area is magical.
