“Fäntästic in Füssen”

We loved the town and the hotel. Staff were outstandingly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Excellent location for visiting the town and the castles up the hill. (No criticism of hotel, but my GPS did not offer me search options between Fussen and Füssen -- the missing "umlaut" resulted in 2 hrs of extra driving!)

“Excellent hotel”

Hotel a bit quirky in its decor, but it is is very modern and a breath of fresh air in that part of Germany. Room size is small - more European size. Bed was very comfortable. The only negative about the room was night time lighting. With the dark drapes and wallpaper, the room looks dark even with all of the lights on. Breakfast buffet was very good with excellent European breakfast choices as well as the usual breakfast fare (eggs, etc.). Was very impressed by the freshly squeezed orange juice - you can watch the machine squeezing the oranges! Choice of teas and pastries was also excellent. Reception personnel were extrememely professional - excellent English speakers too. Outside as well as garage parking available. The other big plus is the hotel's location - it is in the middle of Fuessen, close to everything. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.
