Enjoyed our stay. Great hotel smack bang in the middle of Fussen Altstadt. Walkable from train station. Room was a delight, clean and comfortable. We had a little balcony which was a bonus! No lifts so may require some climbing for higher floors. Hotel gave us a Fussen Pass which allowed free bus travel to Hohenschwangau and concessional tickets to the castles. Thank you for great memories of Fussen and Neuschwanstein!

1st staying in Fussen. A great hotel within all atrractions. Neuschwanstein & the other castles are within easy reach. Love the free city bus service for moving around and to the castles foothill.

This hotel was definitely dated. No elevator and weird lighting which gave the whole place a dingy vibe. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Parking was close and inexpensive. Location was great and in the middle of everything. Overall, not a bad option for just a night but I wouldn’t probably stay here again.

Fantastic location!

Right in the middle of the old town, Ludwigs is a great hotel. The breakfast room is quite beautiful, and the restaurant dinner was really great. We would stay again. Close to everything, and a quick walk to get the bus to see the Castles.

The hotel is located centrally with its own restaurant and the room was clean. The check-in went smoothly and the staff was very friendly. For families with baby it‘s recommened to book a bigger room and to leave the stroller in the car since there is no lift.
