Charming, pleasant hotel.

Hotel Villa Fantasia was a great place to stay. The room was comfortable, well appointed and well set out. It was clean and well provisioned, the staff were helpful and i loved the automated chack in. All this and a great price. Would definitly recommend.

Just at the edge of the Old Town, the building looks like a former church. The room was a bit small but had a balcony with a fantastic view of the castle. 5 minutes walk to the heart of town. Restaurants and shops close by and a McDonald's about. 6km away.

We used the self check in upon arrival which was honestly a little strange but there was quite a bit of parking available. The garden is very nice and the room was fairly spacious. It is easy to walk into town for food and shopping.

Easy 5 minute walk from train station in a residential area. Charming (and a little quirky) old building with gardens. No breakfast available, nor coffee in the room. A coffee machine is available in the basement for 1,5 Euro.

Close location to old town. Not having breakfast on site is a constraint, there are however breakfast hotels & bakeries not too far. No staff on-site is also another constraint. Our bathroom sink plug was stuck, it took the following day to get it fix. The room are kind of small, the 3rd bed is just above the top of the main bed, if mot careful you will hit your back or head when getting up. I think the price is too high.

Their location is ideal for the train and downtown Füssen. Many places to shop and eat that are walkable and a short bus ride to Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles. Be sure to get a Füssen City Card upon check in. Check-In and Check-Out was super easy. My room was cozy and modern with plenty of room for one. While no AC, it did not matter given the cool weather via open windows. I highly recommend staying at Villa Fantasia and plan to book again!

Very small rooms but clean. Town is very walkable , we drove here and parked car and walked around town. Very responsive at check in. No breakfast or coffee. No air conditioner and it was a little warm. Beds were better than average but only one pillow per person.

I LOVED this place! (I misunderstood the check-in procedure so left a low review for that--hopefully that's been changed, because that was my bad.) But Boni (sp?) was great at explaining it and getting in touch with me about it. And he was sooooo helpful with what to do in the area, and he was warm and kind. The place is really clean, inviting, unique, and well-appointed. The location is also perfect--VERY close to a bakery/coffee place that opens nice & early, and also VERY close walk to the main drag in town. My room was so cute and comfy, and staff was always responsive to my requests. I definitely will stay here any time I'm in the area.

We stayed at Villa Fantasia after a day of travel and sight-seeing. We appreciated the idea of self check in to save on cost but the kiosk to check in took a few tries to get it to work. Check out didn't work at all as the kiosk said it couldn't pull up my reservation. It had easy parking and a good location. The building felt really old inside and our room felt old as well but it worked for a quick stay. Unfortunately the bathroom had a bit of a sewer smell and one of the comforters had a stain and hair on it. Other than that, it worked well as a cost friendly option.

The property is beautiful but the rooms are very tiny and there is no real place for large suitcases. We had two twin beds and my mattress kept moving as it had no where to go on one side as it was up against a wall. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and cleaned the room up nicely. We did not pay for breakfast but large area was open to all as was the fridge and plates and silverwear which was great for leftovers. A microwave in basement is really needed. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't do the job. In October that's fine but in the hot weather months it could be a big issue. It was fine for two days but probably would have stayed elsewhere if I was staying longer because of the rather cramped room.

Great stay by Neu Schwanstein

This is a great boutique hotel with novel decor and comfortable beds. No service and self check in/out, although there was a young lady there when we checked in using the kiosk. It was good she was there because our credit card would not do touchless payment for the amount of the bill and she was able to use a chip card reader. If she wasn't there, I don't know what we would have done. Better to pay ahead. Info about braakfast was there, but none was actually offered. No one was there until cleaning ladies showed up later. Fuessen is a nice little town. Great restuarants around and gelato. The castles are of course the reason to visit this part of Bavaria. Hohen Schwangau is kuch better than Neu Schwanstein. They actually tell you a lot about the king and filt. At Neu Schwanstein, the tours are now nothing like they were 8 years ago. It is a rush to cram as many people through as fast as possible and you don't have time to look at anything and they tell you hardly anything. It used to be so good. This hotel should band with others in Fuessen to change that or tourism will go down when people learn how bad it has become. Hotel was great, Schwanfau was great. Schwanstein was awful. This was my third, and last, time to the area. Too bad, it used to be a great romantic place ro visit.

A wonderful and charming hotel with a warm, atmospheric feel. The location is excellent — just a short and pleasant walk to the old town and the main pedestrian area. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy the local vibe without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The ambiance and attention to detail make it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.
