Our favourite Auckland spas
From facials and waxing to pregnancy massages, we’ve selected seven of our top spas in Auckland for the ultimate pampering session!
East Day Spa
Julia and I have been visiting East Day Spa for years and both agree that it’s one of the top spas in Auckland. It’s no surprise that they won top spa at the 2016 World Spa Awards, very well deserved. Situated at Sky City Grand Hotel, East Day Spa is like having a slice of Bali in the middle of Auckland City. The atmosphere is calming, serene and soothing. You can choose your scented oil for your massage and get to sip on herbal tea before and after your treatment. I highly recommend the Coconut Rub and Vanilla Crème Ritual body wrap and the aromatherapy pregnancy massage. The staff are professional and the rooms clean. 123 Albert Street, Sky City Grand Hotel, Auckland
Spring Spa
Spring Spa is situated in the beachside suburb of St Heliers and is the sister spa to East Day Spa. It offers an array of treatments including manicures, pedicures (they have the best nail colour selection!), cellulite treatments and facials, along with brow and lash therapies. The open plan space is perfect for a group of girlfriends as you can socialise while getting manicures and pedicures in the treatment pods! Each pod is also fitted out with iPads and iPods. You can also opt for a more private treatment in one of the rooms. 8A Turua St, St Heliers, Auckland
Haven
Haven offers some of the most luxurious skincare treatments in Auckland, using top of the range Ultraceuticals products. We both love the Bespoke treatment, which is a 70-minute facial using a personalised combination of treatments including a skin peel or microdermabrasion, LED photography to help boost collagen, finishing off with a vitamin infusion and a brow shape. Haven also offers skin peels, massages, LED light therapy, waxing and treatments for men. 373 Dominion road, Mt Eden, Auckland
Earth Spa
The Atlantean Crystal Attunement at Earth Spa is a treatment with a difference. This is a healing treatment that uses crystals to enhance cellular activity with a deep sense of release and renewal. You will come out feeling like you’re floating on a cloud. This is the perfect treatment for someone that’s going through a stressful time in need of a pick me up. Other treatments include reiki, readings, facials, massages, reflexology and treatments for men. 161 Marua Rd, Ellerslie, Auckland 1051
Caci Clinic
Caci Clinic is well known to Kiwis, with locations all across the country. After many recommendations from friends I tried the laser hair removal treatment. If you’re over waxing, this is a great treatment to have. The staff are very professional and experienced and make you feel comfortable. Caci Clinic also offer incredible skin treatments including photo rejuvenation, collagen induction, facials and microdermabrasion. Caci Auckland CBD, Auckland 43 High Street Auckland CBD Auckland
Loft Beauty Boutique
Loft Beauty Boutique is situated in the beautiful Mt Eden Village. It’s owner Lisa has over a decade of experience in the beauty industry. Loft Beauty is known for their fantastic brow treatments so if you’re in need of expert help with your brows, Loft Beauty is the place to go. Some of their other treatments include waxing, microdermabrasion, tanning, manicures and pedicures. 2 Essex Road, Mount Eden, Auckland
Dry & Tea
With blow waves starting at $40, what’s not to like?! Dry & Tea is a blow dry bar that also offers cuts and colours. The concept was brought to Auckland by Louise Pilkington, who previously owned Servilles in Ponsonby. You get a complimentary tea and sweet treat on arrival. Dry & Tea is the perfect salon to book into before a night out, offering catwalk and party option hairstyles for any special occasion. 90 Wellesley St W, Auckland
