Caribbean Islands Waterpark Holidays

I went with my husband for vacation and we are very satisfied in all aspects, food, staff, amenities, etc. We are planning to comeback soon.

This is my 3rd time to the BP resort in Punta Cana but first at Esmeralda. I really enjoyed my visit. The property is well keep and beautiful. All of the common areas were clean. My room was large with enough space everywhere. The check in and a la carte reservation process was easy to use on the app. When I arrived the front desk was very friendly and helpful! Carla was the best! Every bar or restaurant that I went to was full of staff that were polite and took care of their guests. The food portions were filling and there was a good selection. The pool area was fun and lively. Alberto at the pool bar was a master at drinks and service. The gym had enough equipment to get a good workout in! The beach had enough chairs for guests. It was an easy walk to the beach and the beach was tended to by staff. It was annoying when people save their chairs but don't even come to use them until the afternoon. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

View from the room was fabulous but the part we stayed in was older and very worn but everything worked. We got woken up several times a night due to noisy neighbors partying till 2 - 3 - 4 am. It was not the restful break we were looking for but the food was excellent and so too the staff.

Overall we enjoyed our time at the Barcelo palace. We liked the offerings for kids and the beach and pool area.

I had an ocean room view room. It was beautiful and anything we needed we got. Room service was top notch and room was always cleaned without waiting for anything. It didn’t take long for them to clean every day and went above and beyond!

Resort was great. Some small things that need attention but overall- great stay. Woodley was helpful and Carla at the buffett provided excellent service.

Amazing place for kids. Zoo like aquarium with ocean life easily watchable and lots of activities on site. Actually better than most ocean aquariums. Food is expensive. And with 10% VAT tax and 15% gratuities on every purchase you can easily spend $100 a day per person. Much more if you eat at restaurants. Place is big. We walked around 3 miles a day. There are pools everywhere so this much walking is not required but if you want to see everything offered you will be walking a lot.

Amazing place for kids. Zoo like aquarium with ocean life easily watchable and lots of activities on site. Actually better than most ocean aquariums. Food is expensive. And with 10% VAT tax and 15% gratuities on every purchase you can easily spend $100 a day per person. Much more if you eat at restaurants. Place is big. We walked around 3 miles a day.
