Yorkshire and the Humber Ski Holidays

Was hard to find the parking area. We had to call a number to get codes for doors. We were not greeted otherwise. Room was large and it’s obviously been recently decorated (poorly). Bathroom had numerous broken tiles, dirty floor and wet bath mat which meant that we didn’t feel comfortable using the shower. No breakfast facilities and we were woken early by the sun coming through the ripped film that had been put on windows. No view except of car park. Plus points is that the bed was comfy even though there was no mattress protector and the pub along the road was very welcoming. Would come back to area to visit family but not to this hotel. Expensive for very basic facilities.

Staff helpful, hotel felt a bit uncared for, could be beautiful, really convenient location, booked a deluxe room that says comes with robes but didn't and hotel says they don't provide them and never have, the room however was lovely, really big bathroom with a bidet, the shower was only a tiny cubicle though with no place to put your toiletries which was a bit of a waste of space in a. bathroom that big no bath, had double sinks. A nice for poster bed which was really comfy, but the wood around the bed was a bit annoying when trying to get out of bed. Breakfast was terrible, not worth getting up for. Just 1 slice bacon, 1 sausage, an overcooked egg and a tiny portion of beans, with no other choice except a halal breakfast, you could double up for £5 extras or a £1 per item.

Had a slight issue that was resolved swiftly, lovely staff and an exceptional breakfast. I would say the best breaky in Manchester.

We loved the Edwardian! The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone is so happy and pleasant. Breakfast was great and the coffees are lovely. The hotel is in a great location for nights out, bars, restaurants etc. The rooms are brilliant and have an iron and ironing board, Nespresso machine, fridge etc. which some don't have. The spa is great, the pool, gym, sauna and steam room are excellent and was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant and bars look amazing although we didn't eat there. There's a lovely champagne bar too. The changing rooms at the spa were lovely and there are large beds to relax near the pool I saw a couple of small areas in the pool area that need plastering to retain the high class finish that is so obvious everywhere else throughout the hotel (I noticed this near to the water/drinks because I'm a tradey and no one else might've and it's small! I'd have done it if I'd have had my trowel ;) We will 100% be going again. This is now our favourite place in Manchester and worth every penny.
