I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It is so unique. The location is perfect, walking distance from the beach and the town centre but secluded enough to feel quiet and relaxing. Following our upgrade we had a dream view of the ocean and lighthouse. The rooms was clean and spacious and had many thoughtful little touches. We also enjoyed their signature cocktails at the bar and dinner at Frenchie. Huge thanks to the staff who were extremely helpful and efficient and really made our short stay utterly blissful. We can’t wait to return!!

It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a blend of modern and period furnishings. The art collection is French Modernist (think Bernard Buffett), the glass is blown glass from the 60s and 70s. And then there is the champagne, mostly Dom Perignon. Luxury experience? Absolutely. Gracious? Very. Clean? Spotless. Gourmet food? Delicious. Spa? Yes. Pool? A lap pool! Landscape? Gorgeous. Pet friendly? Silver bowl for the puppy! Interior decor? Made me so jealous I didn't want to leave. Breakfast is a la carte, and drinks are generous. We will definitely return.
