Mexico and Central America Scuba Diving Holidays

Food was great. Resort was outdated and it appeared some construction was being done in the front. Room had a few issues with the a/c but they were prompt and serviced it. Room smelt a bit old… not much to do in the evenings. Pool bar closed at 6pm. They did things in the evenings but they really need some sort of dj music offered every night and a place to dance.

Great staff and resort kept clean at all times. Food was good.

The staff were very helpful. It was hard to get reservations for dinner, but one staff member helped us out! The catch is regular guest versus premium guest. It would bro knowing this when you book your trip through Expedia! The buffets have the same food each day, it was OK.

The hotel is surrounded by a mangrove jungle, the buildings the rooms are in feel more authentic to surroundings than a modern hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the guests are more international than you would find at your standard Hilton, which we loved. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We got the privlaged packaged which gave us the à la carte dining options. The sargassum was a lot but the hotel cleaned the beach everyday. The entertainment was just that, entertain. We will definitely use the Catalonia Brand of hotels again!

The property was under construction and very loud when we were there( got home today) manager said they would deduct resort fee from my bill but did not so I will have to contact them. Also things were blocked off so you couldn’t really see how nice the inside of the hotel was. The pool area is beautiful. Food is very pricey!

Will definitely return!
