Beautiful resort. Consistent excellent food. The resort is very quiet, no music and by 8:30 it is a ghost town so be aware. Aside from the incredible views, food and drinks it is the staff that set this resort apart. When I arrived I was told, “Welcome home”. I do not want to leave anyone out because EVERY SINGLE STAFF member was exceptional. From our housekeeping to barrista to waiters (who literally ran to get requests) to activity coordinators teaching spanish and salsa. Cultural events were great especially Mexican night. My own personal fav was yoga 7:30 & 8:30 every single day overlooking the ocean. The instructor was excellent. The consistent schedule made it easy to attend. We will return!!!! (Only negative the gym is too small. There was consistently 4-5 people and it was too tight)

Delmore, the activity host definitely made our trip 10,000% better, he was so much fun. He’s very knowledgeable of the area and was able to give us lots of information about Cabo. Ivan was also great on the bike tour. The only problem we had with the resort is the app is used to make hibachi reservations and you can only make two people at a time so the app is not good for groups. The concierge made us a reservation at the hibachi table called and confirmed it 10 minutes earlier when we got to the restaurant they did not have our reservation and would not call the concierge’s desk said they did not have the number. So the communication between the restaurants and the concierge‘s desk needs help. Also at checking in. They do tell you cannot swim on their beach, but they do not tell you that there’s a beach less than five minutes away that you can’t swim in. They definitely can work on better communication with the guest.

This was our 4th time staying at Palmilla and unfortunately the service was not what we had come to expect. Carr staff was slow and the last morning we had breakfast at the adult pool and the staff was abundant but fairly inattentive. We will probably stay there again but for 2000.00 a night I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect more.
